I imagined this Pyx would be larger. It is not suitable for use as a Host Box so regretfully I returned it.

My mother was unable to attend church due to an illness. I purchased this for my sister, (who attends the same church) so she could bring communion for my mother home. It's well-made, It has a simple, yet elegant look, priced right & did the job! Would buy again!

Great PYX for Eucharistic ministers!
I had to replace my 30 year old PYX because of the wear to the finish. Looked at my local religious goods store and was so surprised at the prices (remember it was 30 years since I purchased my last one). This is absolutely beautiful and the top is hinged so no more fumbling with top and bottom parts. Wish I had not waited so long to get a new one. Had my pastor bless it and even he commented on the beauty and he was totally surprised that I got it on Amazon.
