Woolworths Plastic Toilet Seat (White)

I didn't realise it was made of thin plastic. The actual seat is hollow underneath (not full plastic) so it feels quite flimsy. On a positive note it is light but it will feel and look very cheap (I guess it is a very cheap price.. my expectations maybe were inadequate).I wanted to return it but the cost of sending it back was more than the actual cost of the toilet seat so it was a bit of a waste of money.Personally if I had seen it in a shop I would have not bought it but the delivery and parts it came with were in line with the price I paid. What I am disappointed with is the description in the amazon page. It is not quite a standard toilet seat: a more practical description and a photo of what the seats looks like underneath when lifted would be useful to make a better informed decision.

Loved this when it first came, we have an odd shaped toilet which is hard to find a toilet sear for, but this fit the bill. The only problem with this low budget toilet seat is that like Cinderella, my fairy godmother did not intend for this to last very long... in fact it lasted all of about two weeks before the plastic hinges snapped off. Be sensible and shop around for a longer lasting seat.

It took more than two weeks to arrive and wish that I could say that it was worth waiting for but IT WASN'T. This is the flimsiest toilet seat I have ever had the misfortune to sit on. At first it looked fine and fit my toilet far better than the previous one. However, it is already showing signs that it will break soon and after less than two weeks of using it. The 'lugs' (or whatever they are called) which rest between the toilet seat and the bowl and pressing through the plastic making large bumps on the side we must sit on. These, I think, will soon break through completely and it will then be rendered totally useless.The plastic, from which this is made, is just not suitable for the purpose.

This is priced right in my opinion . The pan seat is ok ! The lid flattens when you sit on it and spreads , too soft for the purpose really ! Having said that and being fair minded , one has to realize what you are paying for and was free delivery and as such offers value .

The toilet seat is okay but has following negative points.1- The ring / seat inner size is fairly small so not recommended for fat people.2- The seat is not very stable and keeps moving.3- The tightening nuts are not butterfly shaped so cannot be properly tightened.

Couldn't believe it was actually a Woolworths toilet seat but it is. A little disappointed that one of the grips on the bottom is broke but at least I don't fall off the toilet when I wee

Delivery was just two days, the seat and fixtures were easy to install, and the thin plastic seat 'split' in three places the first time an average sized adult sat down. This created sharp edges that could easily cut the skin. Once split, the seat then slide alarmngly from side to side. This product is dangerous and not suitable for ordinary household usage. We have covered the three areas of splittage with tape so the customr can discern the damage.

Rather flimsy but was used as moving house.
