I was so thrilled when I learned that "Kid's Trip Diary" 5th Edition, was available. I treasured the 1st Edition for the travels with my three boys and now am able to give the updated version to my grandchildren. A truly great book for pre-prep, a help with boredom through the wonderful activities and the cute and clever drawings and perfect for creating exciting memories.Thank you, Brees, for this outstanding opportunity to make traveling a real adventure for this generation as well.

The idea of this book is good. I like that there are writing prompts to get you started... however, every page has the same prompts! There are different pictures on the pages, and fun games at the bottom of the page, but each page has the exact same questions. "what is the weather today", "something fun I did today" "how much money I spent today". I can see how this can get old very quickly. If there were different prompts on different pages it would work. I'm returning and switching to the hardcover travel journal.

My son enjoyed this book on our 8 day epic adventure to Jordan! He was excited to fill it in each evening and we had fun reviewing the day together to appreciate what we had done/seen. I could also see what he found most exciting about the day, what was most meaningful to him. My son is 9 1/2.

Awesome for my sons first vacation to write down everyday what he did so he remembered.

My son loved writing about his daily experiences at Disney World. It was awesome watching him reflect and jot it down.
