BOSS GX-10 Compact Guitar & Bass Effects Processor

I had zoom 505 from decades ago, upgraded to zoom g2x-four, but lot of fret noise coming thru. Boss GX-10 at least first impression, sound quality is awesome, I don't think every effect has a noise gate, so I'm out signal processing is really high quality. Also the effects sound really good, ones that have sustain, it's easy to.. sustain :) Touch screen is great bonus. Knobs and buttons seem meaningful. Pedal controller turns on tuner when completely turned off, neat! Good connecticity! Got the Bluetooth module too, so can stream drum loops from android (audio only). There's midi but it's just time synch, patch changing, volume control etc. Device is sturdy, heavy! Feels high quality. Lookng at the effect chain and all the options, learning curve is probably high! Cost was more than Zoom G2X, but had I known I would've bought this over zoom with no regrets! Time will tell if it leaves to expectations. OH the boss tune BTS android app, it's so hard to find, Roland website doesn't even have links to it :) Haven't tries pc/Mac version yet, there's new firmware available. Android app can't be used to update firmware. Not at least via Bluetooth, didn't try USB cable.

The bass version rocks! I’m a guitar player mainly but had a P bass laying around and wanted to use it for song writing. I tried the line6 pod express bass but couldn’t jive with it. Returned it and got this. Best purchase and actually I don’t even want or look at bass gear. I been running through a Headrush Go and it kills still. I actually want to get a bigger FRFR to use with it. Wait a sec… I just realized I ordered a jazz bass because I’m inspired to play the bass more now. I can go directly into garage band and record. Great durable design. The expression pedal is a bonus. As a basic bass player this covers everything I need. Plus it can be powered by usb C, batteries, and 9 volt power supply. Great times!

Best mutieffect pedal I have had so far.

Good price and sounds great. Bluetooth adds a good twist

An excellent piece of equipment. As good as Fractal. Bit of a learning curve and don't expect too much in the way of a "How to Use" owner's manual. All music gear manufacturers seem to be happy with You Tube tutorials. The GX10 will provide you with professional sounding effects and then some. It's the same as the GX100 but in a smaller unit. Enjoy ! !

Me enamoro, solo tengo un problema con el orden de los efectos , deberían organizarlos mejor , por lo menos en menús como por deive , amp, delay , rever , modulación.... Algo complicado encontrar lo que quno quiere

Excellent

This thing has some great sounds and might be usable in some cases. The learning curve is a thing, but not that bad. The effects sound pretty good mostly, the part that kills this and why I returned it are because this thing picks up on more white noise from other electronics than any boss product I’ve ever used and I pretty much use a BOSS centric board. Not 60 cycle hum sounds, but oscillating sounds from appliances on the home. Fans/dishwasher etc. if it’s not USABLE in a basic home, it’s going to be much worse in a room with fans, bar lights, cell phones etc. Great idea, but they definitely cut some corners to get this price point. If you’re playing in a band I would give this the hardest pass.

Bought this from Solo Guitars in Ontario. Absolutely incredible unit and untouchable customer service from Solo. This has replaced all my pedals and I could not be happier.

Fast delivery thankyou

Best pedal I've ever had.
