My main concern was that the package was taped shut like it had been opened- a returned product, etc. However I opened it up and found the product still in its appropriate bags and containers, essentially untouched. All four pieces were with instructions. Looks to be mainly an Asian-based product which is not a problem (usually a benefit) so I was a little paranoid at not finding the instructions, but they are there in a few languages. I followed them and nearly let the plastic curl up so you do have to be very careful with it in the hot water.I didn't have a temperature thing but once the water was boiling in little bubbles, it's good to go. Definitely had to shave the plastic down in a few areas because I have a pretty small mouth. Only using one at a time right now. The plastic is nice and thin which I need to be comfortable at night. There's a chance it's caused some jaw soreness but it'll take some time to be sure if that did cause it. Overall, should be a good product and I will continue using them.

I decided to buy this dental kit because I felt like I was grinding my teeth a lot at night. I got it in the mail the other day. It was a little banged up due to the delivery but I ended up opening it and tried it out. I really love this product. I tried the larger one at first but it didn't fit. I then proceeded to try to the smaller one and it fit perfectly! I love this product. I've been using ever since and I can really tell that I haven't been grinding anymore because I don't wake up with sore gums. Really love this product. It works great!

I bit right through this the first night. I like that I was about to mold it and it was easy to use but it not going to last very long

I've tried this type of guard before. The results with this one is the same: not good. It is possible that a handy person of an artistic bent might be able to make it fit.

If you aren't a standard size don't buy it.

Forms to your teeth. Easy to make at home. If you suspect you are grinding your teeth, try this product first rather than have a dentist make you a $400.00 plus device. I have had one that costs $400 and this works just as good.

Melted 2 before got to work. Not really worth it.

Got 2 pieces of unshaped plastic.Absolutely ridiculous and insulting.Sending it back ASAP.

Update: 2 months in and I’ve finally got a hole in my first set. I’ve added a photo of my “hard” night guard which cost $200 - after a years use- next to this night guard for comparison. The hard one was two months in aNd I was literally eating plastic bits. It had three large holes and basically was falling apart. This soft one is much more comfortable, and while my front teeth pierced the top, I still feel comfortable wearing it. I’ll be using it until I feel it’s stopped working, then I’ll move on to the next one in the pack. VERY happy with this purchase!Original:I grind my teeth, and have for two decades. I buy a $400 night guard very two years from the dentist- and have tried several online and drug store options to save money. I have two chipped teeth to show how well that worked.That said, I lost my nightgurd while travelling and it’s going to take three weeks to get the replacement. I bought this simply because it has four trays, and I figured I could just use one every few days to tide me by until the hardcore one is delivered from the dentist.So far I’m happy. It was easy to use, and feels more solid than the ones I’ve tried from the dentist. It also fits better- not as tight as the one from the dentist, but does slide around nearly as much as the ones from the drug store. I will continue to wear it until my prescription one arrives, and will update with the reliability.

One recommendation: don't count the 15 seconds to soften the teeth trays too slow or else they will lose shape too quickly and you won't be able to get it in your mouth. Make sure you keep a close eye on it when it's in the hot water.The only thing I would criticize about these are that it does not reach the back teeth. But then again my back teeth can't touch each other anyways so it's all the same when using it as a night guard.These are nice and soft which is WAY more comfortable than the one the dentist made for me 10 years ago. I didn't use the dentist's one much because it was too hard and uncomfortable. Plus my teeth moved since and it doesn't fit anymore. It's kind of soothing to chew on these because they are kind of squishy.These don't stick to your teeth as well as the one from the dentist, which I'm sure is to keep you from choking for the chance you sleep with your mouth open, but I can't see something as big as my teeth making it to my throat anyways so I think it's fine. I think that's one of the reasons the one the dentist made was so uncomfortable too because they had to make it fit slightly tight.

They work in the way that I can no longer inadvertantly grind my teeth while sleeping. However, the material is soft thermoplastic and just the temperature from your mouth makes the mouthguard squishy if you clench. Sometimes I wake up with a sore jaw, which I assume is from grinding my back teeth in the mouthguard. I bought these because I lost my dentist made night guard, and can't afford getting a new one at the moment. These would be good for a travel mouthguard so you dont do what I did and lose your good nightguard while travelling.

Une fois le moule "ramolis" c'est difficile de le mouler il est trop mou, il n'a pas de partie rigide qui garde la forme et tous colle ensemble, par chance quil y en a 4 var 2 se sont transformer en boule inutilisable. Point positif, un coup mouler au dents cest certain quil ne bougera pas et qu'on ne le perd pas accidentellement. Si vous etes sentible au haut de coeur, prenez les plus petit (j'ai réussi à la 3e tentative et me restais seulement des gros) je n'ai pas reussi a le garder toute la nuit, mais j'ai tjrs eu du mal à se niveau donc c'est peut être juste moi.

I was certainly nervous about this product as I wasn’t sure how it will fit into my teeth. However it turned out to be great. I just soaked into a boiling water from a kettle for 15 seconds and it quickly softened. Then I just put it in my mouth pushing into a gum and moulding into my teeth. And I washed with cold water and it became hard again. It works great and feels very comfortable. I feel silly having paid so much money to make a mouth piece at a dentist before, as this is super easy and much more affordable.
