##First Order##I am not going to rate one star like other people do because overall it's not bad. I got 3lbs pack, and I totally agree that some of the nuts are tasteless/lack of buttery flavor. They taste crisp and fresh, not overly salted like 'WeGotNuts'. That being said. If they fix this flavor problem(maybe they're over roasted i don't know), these nutzz would be five stars..##UPDATE Third Order##Ordered 3rd time and this batch that I got was the best of three. Tastes so good, fresh, lightly salted, great flavor. Keep it up!##UPDATE Fourth Order##Now, they started vacuum sealing the bags for longer freshness. Still the same great quality. Thanks.

These pistachios definitely beat any that I've tasted from California growers. Buttery and sweet. I've had better but these are passable and, once you get used to Turkish pistachios, you will gag on no-taste California pistachios. I ding Sunbest for quality consistency. You'll eat a few that are near-perfect, then eat a few that are almost as nondescript as California's product. Persian and Turkish pistachios are superior and best eaten from the open market stalls in Turkey or Iran....but since you won't go to that length--settle for these 3 or 4-star pistachios. During peak season, the quality is a little more uniform and worthy of 5 stars.

Turkish Antep Pistachios have been a favorite since childhood. The smaller nut is much more flavorful than the US grown pistachios and has the perfect crispness and slight addition of salt. The difficult part is finding the ideal product and seller. I am delighted that following years of purchasing various brands, I have found my match! After purchasing two lb bags during various times throughout the year and even sending as gifts, I am happy to recommend Sunbest Turkish Antep Pistachios sold by Sunco and Frenchie. The price is comparable to and less than several other brands, and the packaging maintains freshness. Try them! I know you'll be pleased!

I have been an antep pistacio lover, life, long. I am 67 years olde... The calif. pistacios are joke... no element of sweet... no skin delicious skin. No hint of the anteps mix of flavors.But there are bad antep pistacios too, and these Sunbest brand are simply awful!I bought 5 lbs., could not wait to savor these special treats (only twice a year), and I was drooling, and soooo ready to be delighted, and transported to my youth, when they were in hmmm... 5 cent boxes?... Some colored red, for you to proudly (or shamefully) wear for days. And that lucious taste stays in my brain.Sunbest nut #1... the first to touch my palate... errr... where is the taste I so anticipate? #2 goes in, hoping for satisfaction, and nada... Damn!Nuts 3-5 followed. I AM NOT HAPPY! BACK THEY GO (But can't return them, since they are food, so will take credit to my card.)Dried out, over roasted, stale, or a combination.NO antep (can't stop eating, to die for) nut taste.NO sweetness.Poorly salted, crumbly skins...Sunset should be embarrassed!

This product has good taste except very little salt. Tasted salt free.In the first small bowl I took out of the bag, ( 2 handfuls ) there were 16 unopened nuts. The next handful had 8 unopened. That is not acceptable IMO. Will not buy again.

These are delicious. I like the Turkish ones better than the California ones; they are smaller but more flavorful. These have the perfect amount of salt. I also want to thank the company for great customer service. I had ordered a small bag from them and that bag had very few closed nuts (2-3%). I then ordered a bigger bag and in the first 200 nuts had 20 closed nuts. I wrote them just to let them know and they sent me a 1 lb package for free. I'm still eating from the 4 lb package and there have been far less closed ones. So delicious nuts, great customer service, and lower cost than the ones I used to order! I'll order again!

These were dryer and less flavorful than my usual Turkish pistachios. I will not be ordering again.Someone else said Antep pistachios are all from the same source but these were noticeably dryer and less flavorful. My usual supplier's nuts have a slightly oiler shell and nut and significantly more flavor. These were a little cheaper. Perhaps something about the packaging lowered the quality? My usual supplier ships in foil bags.

Finally, the real deal. Been searching hi & lo for Pistachios like I remember them. from when I was a kid. You quickly discover that California pistachios don't even come close to the flavor of the Turkish variety. But Turkish alone does not assure that you will have great tasting pistachios. I have tried several other brands of the Turkish variety and have been let down and disappointed. These, however, are quite good ! I will definitively be ordering them again. There's no comparison between these and even the most premium of the California variety
