This mug makes an adorable and hilarious gift for an art fan or student. I was an art history major in college and work in the museum industry and all my colleagues love it. Just heed the warning- do not put it in a dishwasher or the graphic will peel off. I learned the hard way on a similar mug from the same company. But really, how hard is it to wash a mug? In addition to the novelty, it really is a lovely light blue color, is quality made, and is an awesome oversized style - which is how I prefer my mugs. Definitely recommend!

I was the person who used to say "mugs are the worst gift to give". I thought they were impersonal, and, who doesn't have one too many mugs in their cabinet? Then I received one of these as a gift and was in love. This year, I bought everyone a different one for the holidays and my whole family was happy. The themes are smart, funny, adult (without being too x-rated for the kids to see) and the "disappearing" areas hold up well compared to other mugs like this. I love my coffee and I didn't have a big mug like this, so would make it in a beer glass. Now this mug is with me every morning instead. I recommend these for gifts for the whole family. Great, smart company!

The product is fine but since I got this item as a gift I hoped the box it came in would be nice. Unfortunately it is dented, wrinkled, and scuffed. Oh well.

This mug's such a hoot! I can't help chuckling every time I use it 😆 The colour is very close to the picture shown-a greeny blue turquoisey shade and the overall quality is satisfactory. I was a bit concerned that it might not work as described, owing to reviews that stated the mug was slow to change after being filled with hot liquid. However, my concern was unfounded as the figures promptly lost their clothes within seconds of filling the mug with hot coffee. My conclusion is that those who found the mug slow-changing, probably filled it with warm rather than hot water. My only grouse (and it's a small one) is that the capacity is larger than I expected or wanted, but those who prefer a larger serving of coffee or tea will be happy. I waited over a year to get this mug. Glad i finally did.

was neat, but this thing broke within 2 weeks of very delicate use. i only washed it with warm water and one day it was sitting on my desk and I went to get a lil sippppp and the handle snapped off. thus coffee on the desk and keyboard.fragile.

This mug is hilarious. Got it for my dad as a Father's Day gift. I'm not sure if some people forgot to take off the protective film or what, but we had no problem getting the mug to change with hot water. Great gift!

It's real cute- I got it for my mom, who's an artist. But, despite the warning to NOT put it in the dishwasher, my dad put the cup in the dishwasher and the pictures washed off. There must be a better way to make mugs like these that don't have the pictures made out of decals. It's still a nice-sized mug, but there seem to to have been some cut corners in quality.

I have used this for 2 months now. It does work as advertised. The only drawback is that some images do not go completely nude and retains a little bit of dress. Also, the liquid has to be pretty hot for this to work. Overall a good purchase.
