Different Than Expected
I've gotten several of these now and it always makes me a little irritated that they don't show what you're getting. So I figured I'd post the pictures as I opened it up for whoever is trying to decide which set to buy.Overall, there are more elementals and less robots and aliens than I expected. Box was very slightly damaged - didn't bother me but might be upsetting to some.I definitely do recommend a box like this if you play. Quality is high and consistent from Paizo; it's really just a question of which set fits you best.

VERY versitile box
The biggest reason this box is getting a 5-star is the sheer amount of ELEMENTALS it gives you. The pawns are of the same solid quality as other Paizo pawn offerings, but with the Elementals getting such a hefty amount, it makes it an extremely flexible box for all settings and games in, and out, of the Paizo RPG library. This helps with not only enemies, but gives an easy resource for summonables for the spell-casters (it's not unreasonable for GMs to limit what you can summon partially on what you have representation for mind you). You also get multiples of almost everything you would reasonably need multiples of. One thing that is sometimes lacking in RPGs is the recognition that a lot of players enjoy 5 on 15 battles (given the GM isn't slow as molasses and already knows what the opponent is going to do and isn't playing as if it's a damn game of Warhammer). Having a myriad of options to pull from with the two Starfinder pawn sets that can facilitate large fire fights is a great thing. My one complaint is the fact they give you one, and only one, different color base. WHY!?!? If you are already running sets of the different colors, why not increase this? The dots are hardly sufficient to designate between the different pawns of the same ilk, and having different color bases on the 5 goblins would be a VASTLY superior way to identify them from each other. I hope Paizo looks into to providing future boxes with the entire box a different color then black to more easily identify which one is which when keeping track as the GM (or even for players to have their own color to reduce confusion).

Nice tokens
They aren't miniatures, but they aren't priced like miniatures either!!! They are good for their price, I just wish the book itself had more variety of monsters. If feels like 1/3 of the tokens are just different sizes of others. However, if it is in the book, you get a token or a few.

Great resource if you are DM'ing Starfinder
Great resource if you are DM'ing Starfinder, or any SciFi TTRPG. 4 out of 5 stars because there are some pieces where the art goes outside of the pawn cutout. Still worth grabbing.

Does come with bases, Tons of pawns. I am getting the core rule book set as well (no bases), and i believe they will fit in the box with these.

Perfect, unless you really want the Gargantuan ones.
Matches the book perfectly. Only missing the Gargantuan pawns.

Excellent quality standies.
Gotta like the pawns. They're fun to look at and easy to pick up and move around.
