Le Petit Prince

Still absorbing the story... I will have to reread to get the depth of it. There are many passages of life’s truths such as the most important things, you cannot see. I also appreciated the sad ending because it brings reality of death, dying, ends, finality and impermanence into focus.

The book is astounding! That is for anyone who likes the rather poetic, metaphorical type of literature. If someone is looking for a kindle edition that has a good view of the pictures, if that is possible, you might be disappointed because they show up very small.

I was on of my favorites growing up, but I read it in Spanish and wanted to read it in the English version, as good as I remember!

Received the book but with a small tear on the top of the front cover. It was a gift so I was a bit upset.

No matter how old/young you are. This story stays beautiful no matter what eyes beholder has.

I just love this book and have for years and years. I am delighted to have another copy in French.

Un grand classique

This is a great book with good paper and print quality. It is full of exercises too. However, it is not the original version of the story. It is a condensed and abridged version for beginner French learners. In particular, for A1 level readers.That is a deal-breaker for me as I wanted to experience the original, so I'm considering returning it. If you don't mind it, then it's a great book.

À chaque chapitre, on peut y retrouver une métaphore qui nous pousse à refléter sur quelque chose qui nous touche de près ou qui nous a concerné il était une fois.À relire une fois que l'on soit une grande personne comme il les décrit dans le livre, peut-être, afin de pouvoir retrouver son coeur d'enfant.
