While this light is easy to set up and provides a bright light to illuminate path at night, it isn't the "perfect" solution I'd hoped for.First, you must turn it on (button easily found on back of battery) for it to detect motion. This means the light shines from dusk to dawn and brightens considerably for 60 seconds when motion is detected. I'd anticipated a light that stays off unless there is motion in the area, and didn't realize it would be illuminated all night (as is common for solar-operated lights).The biggest problem for me is that the battery and light are in fixed position to each other, which means the light MUST point the same way as the battery points. As a result, in order for the battery to get optimum sunlight for charging, the light itself cannot be pointed in the most efficient manner to illuminate the path where I'm using it.

LivEditor was a very helpful company. They made sure I was happy with the light. I just installed it and works as promised. I wish the light had an off setting so the light would only come on when motion occurred. But the light does exactly as described.

It's very flimsy and cheaply made; it broke in the cold when a neighbor shoveled snow onto it. The battery life isn't great either; during the winter it usually died a few hours after sunset.
