I've been using these outline markers with my son for drawing and art projects, and overall, I'm pleased with their performance. The 36-color set provides a wide range of colors that can be used to create beautiful outlines on paper. However, he was disappointed when he went to do anything other than outlining, because he didn't like them for filling in between the lines.Unfortunately, this limitation means that my son doesn't use these markers to create more complex artwork with color fills, which might have been a bit of a letdown for his artistic ambitions. Nevertheless, they still do the job well for simple outlining tasks, and I appreciate the variety of colors available. Overall, I'd recommend these markers for their versatility and quality, but keep in mind that they're best suited for outlining and not coloring inside the lines.

Walking in an art store or craft store is like Christmas as a kid for me. As soon as I saw these pens they were calling my name. Yesterday, I sat down to try every single one out to see how they worked. My intent was just to simply check them out, but "simple" turned into grafitti art. I had so much fun just creating as I went along! I absolutely recommend these pens, whether you're an art store geek like me or just need to do some fancy lettering.

Get these for a good sparkly marker but the outline effect did not work for me.

These work, you get lots of them, but many are the same or very similar colors. You have to press the tip onto something 2-3 x to get the ink flowing down to the tip. I think these would be useful for special posters for school projects, drawing attention to signage, that sort of thing. BE VERY CAREFUL though if you get this on any surface other than a poster or paper. While my nieces and nephew were testing these out with me we accidentally got some on my parents granite island top. Oh my! We had to use tons of elbow grease and fingernails scraping to gently get the dots off of the surface. It was distressing as it seemed it wasn't going to come off. One of the pens, when shaken to get ink down, had actually spurted out a few drops of color and that's how it got on the countertop surface. Maybe these would be best for college age and up adults.

The price is good considering the number of pens and variety of colors. But the metallic effect varies from pen to pen. Some are very metallic, some less so. Some have a distinct outline, but it's barely there for others. And the pen colors do not always match the lids.I find it strange that out of 36 colors, there is not a single true red. Instead, there are several reddish-oranges and a range of pinks.One pen is pretty runny and tends to produce splatter when I open it. The rest don't have this issue. This is a fun set in spite of the inconsistencies.

These are excellent and the colour selection is fantastic. You do have to be mindful where you start and finish with the tip of the pen if doing more than writing, but that means there are lots of creative possibilities. The quality of the ink is top notch and it's very noticeable when fill the tip when new that the flow is really slick.Recommended.

These outline markers are great for headings and simple drawings specially on arts and crafts projects like cards and posters.The pack includes 36 different colours. Some of them look quite similar to others, just a slightly different shade, the outline writes in the corresponding colour, with the inner colour in silver. You can’t really colour in with them as they will just smudge.The pens need priming before use, shaking and pushing the ink through the nib, which you need to be careful with as they can leak if pushed down too firmly!They look bright and attractive, especially on white paper/card, and I found the pinks and purples stood out the best around the silver.They aren’t cheap and require a bit of skill and precision to get the outline exact, therefore I’d say they are better suited for use by older children and adults.
