I don't typically review products like ever unless I experience a severe issue, but I wanted to give my feedback on how well this has worked for me for my own needs anyway.I am about 7 months pregnant and have been using most of my pregnancy to stop dyeing my hair with permanent black dye so I can do something different next year. Unfortunately between baby shower events, maternity shoots and just my daily life growing bigger and bigger I have not felt very pretty most days and don't want to feel that way in photos. My hair grow out just felt embarrassing. I really had very little hope for a semi permanent black product to do anything to my virgin roots but this has actually stuck through several washes. It isn't as black on virgin hair as the rest of my hair obviously but it has removed that harsh line that was really detrimental to my self esteem, and in person I can't see the difference .There's so much product in this jar is can do my roots for probably a whole year lol. I will say, it stains your skin like crazy if you're not careful, which I didn't expect for a colored mask. Wear gloves and clean it up with alcohol. It really made my roots soft and glossy like you expect as well, I imagine using this product over all virgin hair would still like amazing, but it blends my line of demarcation great!

I am in love! I have hip-length, fine, virgin hair and I used the Xmondo Color Gloss in 5R and WOW! The gloss smells amazing, is thick enough to apply without making too too bad of a mess, and left my hair feeling salon quality soft and silky!I did rinse into a bucket initially just to help prevent my tub from staining and that seemed to work well! My neck and ears and other skin did not get dyed from stray gloss (use gloves to apply, of course!) and it worked well on my eyebrows too! I have enough for two full applications, and will be buying more in the future!

I’m truly upset by the outcome I had with this product. I watch Brad mondo and have for years. I was truly so excited when he came out with hair dye. $30 for a little tub of hair dye is a lot for me so it took me a while to buy it. I finally did. I used it with the exact directions. I’ve done my hair many times before without missing spots and I made sure to soak every hair strand. Left it in for the 20. When I got in the shower the first thing I noticed that I didn’t like was it was staining my hands my tub and my whole body. It took every bit of 30 mins to get my hair even somewhat clear. I got out and I was very upset by the results. My hair is so incredibly uneven. I understand how hair works and I understand that if parts of your hair are more porous those strands will grab onto color more. My hair is not extremely damaged nor dry. And this is not a problem I’ve had in the past with ANY dyes I’ve used. Whether it was $3 permanent box dye or semi permanent professional color. My hair also feels dryer than it did before and did not give me any of the benefits it claims to. The top 3/4 of my hair are a medium brown but the ends of my hair are extremely dark and it looks horrendous.I’ll still watch Brad mondo I love his videos but I won’t be ordering again.

it looked like it might’ve exploded, but it didn’t leak outside of the packaging part, after i cleaned it up i did a test strand on my blond hair and it matched my natural hair color perfectly. Plus my hair feels non compromised. I got the red dye a while back and I also really loved it. I definitely love the formula.

Being a licensed cosmo I was scared at first because it doesn’t give specifics.USE GLOVES like it says. I used gloves and after doing half my head I washed my hands and saw a blue tint come off, again SCARED ME! I have a demi color over my bleached blonde (natural brunette) and want to go back blonde with in the next year…. When you see a deep blue (like a blue base black dye) come off it scares you.I trusted the process. It’s a gorgeous DEEP Dark brown. I assume it lightens as you wash but it doesn’t give specifics. It bleeds too much to be permanent… but I could be wrong (prays to hair gods not permanent).WEAR GLOVES WHEN RINSING as well. Normally when rinsing a hair color you can go without gloves because the water…. NOT THIS! My fingers are practically black and I was in the shower for a while rinsing!!!Cons: 1. isn’t specific if you wash after rinsing (I rinsed till almost clear and shampooed and conditioned and it seems fine).2. Staining is an understatement on hands when rinsing (came off my face and neck surprisingly in the shower while rinsing)3. Doesn’t state if it’s a temp, semi/demi, or permanentPROS: 1. Even color2. Smells amazing3. Almost covered my greys fully on my regrowth4. Super glossI highly recommend and when I go blonde again I can’t wait to try the colors as hot roots
