Pretty good sound, decent volume. Remote doesn't turn unit on however. Would be better if it did, also needs to have about 3' more wire for speakers.

I bought this for my mother-in-law who was looking for a stereo system so she could play her cds and listen to the radio. She was really happy with it, and it was easy to set up. Has nice sound quality. She loves having a remote too. I would say its worth the value and good quality.

Bought this a month ago hoping it would make it easier to switch between our 500+ Christmas songs and 5,000+ other songs. This is the only unit I could find with a USB port, and Shuffle play option, which works fine. We let it run 24x7. But there are two issues with USB. First, I loaded the Christmas music and noticed it kept stopping after an hour or two. Customer Service said to find the bad songs and rename them something simple with just letters and numbers. That didn't work, so instead I deleted the 6 songs (mostly from foreign CD's). It hasn't crashed in over a week of non-stop playing now. BTW, the bad songs work fine on my PC, phone, and an Mp3 player. Second USB issue is that there are only 3 digits for the song number. So I loaded a few thousand songs on another USB drive to see what would happen when it reached 999. After several attempts, it never recognized more than 714 songs, After that, it either stops playing or returns to the first song, or keeps randomly playing the 714 songs - depending on which playback mode is selected. So I will be using a Bluetooth MP3 player for our other music after Christmas. This also meets our goal of easy transitions between our two song categories. I'm still giving the system 4 stars despite all the extra work I went through because I love the simplicity of the layout and size of the system. Radio and CD work fine, and it sounds good with our previous speakers - as long as we use the Jazz or Classical EQ setting. The other EQ settings have far too much bass, even with the small speakers that come with the system.

Although I stream most all of my music, my wife still likes the CD's better. She wanted the stereo that quit working replaced as a Christmas gift. I looked at a lot of different styles and settled on this one. She has it out in our garage, so most anything would probably sound loud, but this gets loud enough carry the sound outside just on normal volume. She plays it daily and so far has served her purpose. I doubt that she has tried the blu tooth, but she loves the remote control so she can pause or turn it down anywhere she is

I just unboxed and used this unit for the first time today. Small footprint but big sound. So very easy to assemble and use. It does not come with battereies so have 2 AAA batteries on hand. I bought this unit in particular because it has a PROMINENT FRONT ACCESS USB SLOT. I wanted a unit that would play cds but also music from USB FLASH Drives. I also wanted speakers that had lead wires that insert into the back of the tuner. I have Bose speakers that I want to try to use with this system. Haven't done so yet but that is my tommow plan. Worst issues are for me: 1) the small print and illustration in the litle manual of the remote. I can't read either the symbols on the remote or the manual. So, I had to mock up a drawing with labels until I get to know the remote better. 2) Base sound quality is not too great with some CDs. However, I learned that at the very bottom of the remote on the right side the EQ button will allow you to select music types: POP, ROCK, CLASSICAL, JAZZ AND FLAT. WHILE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT FLAT MEANS, I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT IS ADVISABLE TO USE THE EQ AND SELECT A SETTING THAT WILL ALLOW BETTER FIDELITY FROM THE SPEAKERS. High range on the speaker is very clear. 3) UPDATED 11/6/25 - I RETURNED THE FIRST UNIT BECAUSE THE CD PLAYER WAS NOT LOADING ALL CDs. I GOT A REPLACEMENT UNIT AND THE SAME ISSUE IS HAPPENING. I AM SO VERY DISAPPONTED. BTW - I USED IDENTICAL CDs to test both units - whether the CDs are store bought or burned at home doesn't matter. Some of both play and some of both do not.

I like the stereo layout with the USB port, and the speakers sound good for the price. It took me a little bit to get the settings down but well worth the price. I think people who do not like this maybe have not gone through the settings to adjust to the sound you like.

Bought in February. My April it would randomly die and then repower itself on but only once or twice. One week into May and it just did it 5 times in one hour. It's like you yanked the power plug out of the wall the way it crackles and pops when it shuts down. Pretty sure there is a loose connection somewhere inside which scares me the most. Now it just cracks and turns off. When does it start smoking. Had to return. Would have been interested in a replacement but the seller/manufacturer is out of the UK and there wasn't any easy way to contact them.

Easy to use controls and sounds good. Good size unit that comes with a cord to plug in or use batteries.

Busquei a compra de um aparelho de áudio que possuísse excelente qualidade de áudio, não enfatizando tanto a potência. Realmente a qualidade é ótima, faltando somente um pouco mais de potência, mas adorei o produto.

non mi aspettavo nulla, invece sono rimasto positivamente colpito e sorpreso dalla qualità dell'audio, certamente non bisogna dimenticare il prezzo 99.00 €, quindi parliamo di rapporto qualità/prezzo incredibile. la cosa che più mi colpisce è che non essendo una impianto stereo HI-FI ma semplicemente un "coso" con degli altoparlanti, funziona incredibilmente bene punto, riproduce bene i CD, molto veloce nel saltare e riprodurre le tracce anche di dischi un poco usurati, la connessione AUX-IN funziona bene l'ho connesso alla tv, al computer, al tablet sempre suonando bene. inoltre si sposta bene, relativamente leggero e robusto... invece della plasticaccia hanno adoperato l'MDF decisamente migliore. consigliatissimo.
