Premium Korean Traditional Bow MONARQ 53"

I've shot archery for over 35 years now with 27 years dedicated to Olympic Archery. After the last 8 years shooting traditional archery I wanted to try out Korean Tradition Archery. I was looking for a mid grade bow, something that won't break the bank but give me a proper example of quality. First off, the bow is very well made and does not feel cheap or flimsy in anyway. It is very balanced and is so incredibly light compared to bows like my Hoyt Buffalo or Satori. It is SUPER quiet and has a really nice power stroke. I ordered the 53"@45 lbs. and shooting the same 500 grain arrow it is as fast as my 50 lbs. Buffalo! Very surprising to see this little guy kick out arrows so fast. It also shoots incredibly well at distances even though I only have gone out to 40 meters, the flight is really steady and smooth. Since Korean Traditional Archery is shot at 145 meters, I can't wait to take this out on some field shoots this spring. If your looking for a good, well made Traditional Korean bow, I would highly recommend this bow. Wife wants one now too!

I ordered this bow after a previous order of a different bow, an Olympic recurve from the same Company. I was that impressed with their customer service, I decided to try a true Korean style bow. This bow is just WOW! It’s just gorgeous and very light. I ordered a 40# and it shoots so fast you would think it’s a 50+# bow. I saw a few reviews on this bow on YouTube and side by side comparisons with the Gentleman from Malta on 5-6 Korean style bows. This bow will not disappoint. Only minor issue was the fake leather that is above grip that the arrow makes contact with, it rips pretty fast. Might be my cheap arrows. However, I had a few Bear hair arrow rest and put one on the side I shoot and perfection and holding up.

Great price and performs extraordinarily well.The brace height is pretty low and I wasn't used to it; hella string slap. It goes away when you use proper form.Likes light arrows 6.5-8 gpp. Nice smooth draw and feels sturdy. No vibrations that I can sense. I have zero issues with arrow flight using 360 grain arrows with #50.3 @32".Only negative,, I dont like the lettering on the back of the bow.5 out of 5. I would recommend to anyone.
