I do! I mix the soap with white vinegar to make it into a liquid and put it into the little compartment. No residue problems when I do this.

Does roma contain perfume that may caise allergies?

I stopped using fabric softener and switched to no-perfume detergent years ago because I had allergy issues (hives) because of the perfumes; I recently started using Roma on my clothes (after using it on other things for a while) and I have not noticed anything. I don't think it should go so far as being labeled as hypo-allergenic, because you might be more sensitive than me, but I would suggest trying it and seeing for yourself.
