One of the few navy blue options. Works great. Cut it into a fun shape!
Ok, so this box of nylon repair tape/patch is hilarious. I think this box is from the 1980s. Not like the design is from the 1980s, but the actual box has been stored in a warehouse since then. The product itself though is in good condition--a roll of ripstop nylon repair tape. This brand carries one of the few navy blue options which I wanted to match my puffy jacket as I did not want a big black or pink repair patch. In some light you can't even see the patch and other times you can but it still blends. I chose an angle for the photo where you can see the patch, but most of the time it blends so well it is almost invisible. The roll is a long rectangle but I cut a section of it into the shape of a tortoise which I think made it look way better. I highly recommend this method if you want (draw the shape onto the back and then cut out before removing the backing). Just don't pick a design with long thin sections or sharp corners. I also cleaned the area with an alcohol swab and let dry thoroughly before applying. I've had this repair in place for a couple of months now and it is stuck well. I'll update this review if it starts peeling off, but for now I am very happy with the repair and it was super simple to apply.

Best product I’ve found to repair a puffy hoodie
I originally had repaired a bunch of holes/rips from brush and briars in my old synthetic puffy hoodie with tenacious tape, but wasn’t happy with how it felt or looked (it was rigid and you could see the synthetic fill through the holes in the back fabric). Enter this ripstop repair tape. I carefully removed all the old tape and covered the areas with this new tape. The fabric is nearly identical to the original jacket and you can barely even tell where the repairs are. There’s no stiffness and it adhered securely and easily. Tenacious tape has its benefits, but for this specific application this product wins 10 out of 10 times.

Easy to cut, great adhesion
I had a small hole in my nylon Eddie Bauer vest. This patch cut easily and attached without any effort. The bond is strong.

As good as tenacious tape
Has a couple small tears in my favorite down puffer. Couldn’t find navy in Gear aid tenacious tape so took a chance on this. Same quality as tenacious tape. Color is a very close match. This is very thin tape. Not the heavier weight stuff so works great on light weight down jackets. Jacket is like new again. I get holes in my nylon hiking/camping clothes from sitting too close to campfires. Definitely would buy again. Wish I could find brown since I just melted a hole through a pair of brown REI hiking pants.

Excellent stuff! Don't be fooled by the retro packaging
Excellent stuff! Don't be fooled by the retro packaging. The product is simple, and you don't get a whole lot of it, but it *works* and is high quality. It's the type of nylon that you see in some backpacks, with a grid texture (similar to dyneema) for extra woven-in strength. The thinness of the material helps it stick better because it seals down close to just about any cloth surface. Imagine the way saran wrap molds to the shape of a bowl, it's the same principle. I like that the glue is strong yet gentle enough that it doesn't feel like it's poisoning your hand while positioning. You cut it to shape, and there was enough for me to do a few test runs to fix a hole in my luggage, plus enough left over for future jobs. I put it over a very challenging shape – the corner of a suitcase with many wrinkles – and it gripped just fine. Highly recommended!

Great Product!
My parents' puupy ripped my $300 Mountain Hardware jacket. The tear was about an inch long, in the sleeve. The material is nylon, with insulation inside (like a sleeping bad). I cut round (1.5" diameter) patch of this K-Stop material and laid the jacket on a table. When I peeled off the backing to reveal the adhessive side, I was immediately impressed with how sticky it felt. That gave me confidence it would hold. I applied the repair tape to the coat, covering the tear. I was happy the tape shared the same gloss / sheen of my coat... It's a semi-gloss / mid-sheen (not glossy, not flat) black color. You can also see the rip-stop pattern, which should help it remain strong and resilient. I am happy to report it is holding very well and I wear the coat all the time and am active in it. I will keep this stuff around for many other similar uses!

Down quilt fixer
This tape was just the fix for a down quilt I have that had a fairly large tear. Adhesion to the split in the fabric was instant and no more downy feathers escaping! Thank you for a good product

Tiny amount of tape
These guys buy a large roll of tape, cut it into tiny portions and sell it for a giant mark up. Not the best business plan, but hey, they are in Florida.
