Lonely Planet Pocket Singapore (Travel Guide) Paperback – November 1, 2012

This hand-sized book contains everything you will need tomake your trip to Singapore a success! Lots ofmaps, sight descriptions, suggestions for eating and shopping.No info re hotels, hostels, etc. but I don't buy guidebooks forlodging. Convenient to carry in purse or pocket.

I got this for my Kindle. Good information. Only complaint is that maps are kind of hard to use. But there are plenty of maps available at hotels or the visitor center.

Good for touring, visiting and food. Completely lacking in information about hotels. Maps usable as usual for Lonely Planet guides.

Useful book that contains most of the important information. Can be a bit clumsy with regards to navigating the links.

Its okay, Information about Singapore itself not so much of a travelers guide

Up to date and relevant information given along with manageable, readable maps. Compact size meant that it fitted comfortably into my bag - logic organisation of information could be quickly referenced while walking along. Really helped to get the most from a 10 day trip.

For a guidebook I expected more information in the book.When "out and about" in a foreign country you don't always have a live internet connection and the content was short on facts.

Bought as a present for my mum who was having a stop-over in Singapore. A good size pocket guide that had the right amount of information for her, she was very happy with it.

As an introduction to Singapore this is pretty good but I found the search ability rather limiting and was surprised that some places such as Jurong Bird Park are not in it.

A little gem packed with loads of information.A must before you visit Singapore.Transport maps are excellent!Buy & enjoy your trip
