This is my second one of this type charger. I got the almost identical one. Only this one came with a bonus fan to connect by USB. Whcih i find pretty useful this summer. I was thinking to use it at my office as i have a coworker that has one but i end up taking it with me to outings with the portable battery for my kids.Anyway. Thats a great bonus but the actual portable battery itself is grest. Its solid and well constructed. It feels nice when you hold it since the back side is made of that velvety plastic. The solar panel side has a matte finish so no fingerprints. Its a huge capacity so it takes time to charge. But i have been able to charge two kids kindle fire tablets at the same time from being dead and still have more juice left. I just chqrge the battery overnight and its done when i wake up.

Has 3 output USB ports, 1 input microUSB and 1 input lightning port- so you can charge from EITHER one! No more carrying 2 cords if you have an iphone/ipad!2. Starts charging as soon as it gets a glimmer of sunshine. Has a blue indicator light, so you can tell it's charging. Solar charging is supposed to be a backup, but it works fairly well.3. Charging color code- when a device is plugged in, the charger will flash a light indicating how much charge is left "in the tank" (red 0-40%, blue 40-80%, white 80-100%)4. The USB fan! Keeps 2 of the ports open, so all can be used. The fan is very light, fairly flat, and bendable. Perfect for a long flight.5. Overall feel and shape- velvety matte finish. The yellow stripe is only around the sides, and where the USB ports area (good for identification in the dark!) I also purchased a BUBM Electronic Travel Organizer, and this fits in the open mesh pockets as well as the zipped pocket.CONS:1. it's a bit heavy- weighs 15.8 oz. I have a smaller non-solar charger that weighs 9 oz.2. Power button is a little hard to find. Had to look at the instructions to figure out where to turn it on. It's a flush yellow button on the left side- easy to miss.3. Seems to turn off randomly while charging- I've had to keep pressing the power button to keep it charging.

When my boyfriend told me he wanted to take a 10 day camping trip and that I'd have no access to electricity, I freaked out a bit. Fortunately, I bought this charger!! It kept two kindle fires and two cell phones fully charged for 10 days! I'm blown away. I love that the light blinks different colors to show what percent charged the battery is at. I'm buying one of these for all of my outdoorsy friends!

This portable battery is great!! It’s solid and well made and a nice finish. Its has a huge capacity so it takes little time to charge. I have been able to charge 2 tablets sad my phone from almost dead to a full charger still have more juice left to charge something elese . Charge the battery pack overnight and its has a full charge for the day :) it’s great for camping, fishing outdoors ect the solar panel is nice just doesn’t charge as fast

This product doesn’t work well at all. The solar charger doesn’t charge at all. After charging the power bank using a good old fashioned outlet, placing it in my backpack for two days, and then trying to use it to charge my phone, left me wanting; it didn’t work hardly at all. I don’t know if I received a lemon or what. I missed my return window on this product because I bought it for a work trip that took me to the desert for a month, man... no power and no return... terrrible purchase, save your $$$

I am very impressed with this phone charger or I should say power bank as there are 3 USB ports to charge more than one or device at a time!!! In the past when I've used power banks, it took a long time to charge my phone and sometims it wouldn't even charge all the way. However, with this power bank......straight out of the box, it charged my phone (really fast) completely. It still shows as having power to charge my phone again, up to 8 times.The part that really excites me is that it has a solar panel to charge the battery of the bank! If I'm on a walk or camping in a tent without electricity, I can still charge my phone with the power bank....simply by putting it in direct sun for the best charging. Obviously, for the most part, I'll be plugging it in, but I like knowing that in an emergency I can charge my phone. It also comes with a fan that can be used, isn't that great?I can absolutely recommend this power bank to anyone looking to buy one. It's a great value for the money!!!

I’ve been carrying this in the car as a backup cell phone power source since one of the DC outlets doesn’t work and hasn’t been fixable by normal (replacing fuses) means. It has fully recharged my phone 5+ times on one charge (not sure how many times my husband has used it on the same charge but probably similar number) and is not yet fully discharged. So it replaces several little lipstick-sized power banks I used to have rattling around in the car. I can’t comment on the efficacy of solar recharging (it’s winter in Wisconsin so not much sun) but I understand it’s just a backup and I like the idea of that option being available. One annoying thing: the white light flashes when you’re charging something which is a bit distracting when driving at night, so I throw it inside the armrest console or set a glove on top of that end. Other than that it’s worked great so far.

Product was very useful on my trip to Africa!Trickle charge through sular is just that a trickle and you can't expect more. Have to be patient. Unto did take a while to charge but it's because the large cells hold charges for up to 4 or 5 charges.Only issue I had is that the LED would light up a room and made it difficult when trying to sleep while charging. I had to hide the device under my pillow to escape the flashing. Light.
