This worked perfectly for me with only one suggestion for the rest of you. The way the item is pictured shows a black strap which would go around the back of the sofa to hold the top part of the slipcover in place. I didn't notice this when I ordered or I would have opted for something else as my sofa is white and the strap really stands out. Also the slip cover wasn't staying in place well until I decided to flip it upside down. The part of the cover that goes on the back upright side of the sofa with the strap is now on the seat cushions with the strap running underneath of the cushions. My sofa has three cushions for the back of the sofa that are unattached. I removed the cushions and placed what should be the part of the cover to be sat on over the bare back and let it fall behind the sofa. For extra measure, I wedged a tension rod between the back of the cushions and the upright backrest portion of the sofa and then replaced the back cushions. I also let some of the cover hang down the front and tucked underneath the seat cushions. It's been three weeks and the cover hasn't budged. I haven't once straightened it out. If your sofa doesn't have removeable backrest cushions, you could put the cover over those cushions, but you would really need the tension rod. It wasn't necessary for me to try it that way, so I don't know if it is as perfect a solution as with my removable cushions, but certainly worth a try.

Just got it tonight and it was so easy to put on the couch and it looks great!!! I’m ready for the wrinkles to come out but I am happy with it. It will probably need a wash to soften it up. But I would recommend!

We have a long wide couch and this cover fit pretty well. Back strap was an issue, not made for couches that ha arm rests that are molded into the couch back.

Pros: waterproof backing to keep furniture dry, and soft and protects couch.Cons: it will NOT stay in place, the arms are not long enough and flip onto the couch. I finally tucked them inside the couch to help keep it in place, but then the armrests aren’t protected. The back needs to be longer also. If you don’t have the back under the elastic strip, the back falls onto the couch. I did place the strap higher and that helps. But to me the fabric needs to be longer on the back. To me it just looks sloppy once it is sat on.My dog is a greyhound with big paws so it is protecting the 4 piece couch cover I bought from the same company to protect my leather couch from my cat. My greyhound had already poked two holes in it. The 4 piece couch cover made the couch look new so I wanted something to protect them. However I don’t like that the color doesn’t match the 4 pc covers and it drives me nuts when it just looks like a sloppy mess. But if you are looking for waterproof then this would be ok. They just really need to work on it staying in place

My dog is a chewer. She is constantly chewing a collagen stick or a toy. This cover does a great job protecting my fabric sofa. I'm very happy with it!!!

I am really happy with this purchase. The color is spot on; just what I expected, and the slipcover is well made, easy to put on and looks really good. I got the 78" because my couch is long and it's a perfect fit. My fur babies like it too! I love that it covers the top, back and sides of my couch as well. You can't go wrong with this slipcover.

My loveseat is covered in that leather they make from leather fiber and glue I think it is called patent leather or something but it is the stuff that wears out and falls apart pretty quick. I got this to cover it and extend the useful life of the loveseat. The rubber material on the back holds the cover in place a little but not alot and it will fall out of place and bunch up and need to be readjusted. I don't use the straps for the back to hold it in place. You can put it in the washer but not the dryer because of the rubber backing so it has to be hung up to air dry which is kind of a pain but I prefer that to having any fluid go through to the loveseat. My dog gets up on the loveseat and the hair clings to the cover but that happens with most fabrics. I got it to try and protect the loveseat and it is doing what I needed it to do.

Worked well for awhile, then it keeps falling down.
