Crisis on Earth X [DC TV Crossover Event] [DVD] [2018]

I've read a lot of the DC graphic novels so I'm reasonably familiar with the better-known characters and the multiverse concept. Until now I haven't considered the crossover episodes (though I've seen some of the movies and own a few of the omnibus collections and other editions of DC stories). This was an eye-opener! Even not being an expert on the many characters that inhabit the many worlds of DC I had little difficulty in picking up the functions and traits of some of the newer heroes. I am now regretting not getting these dvds earlier and intend to get the other entries in the canon.

I’ll be honest I was apprehensive about buying Crisis On Earth-X when I first found out it was coming to Amazon. I bought 2016’s ‘Invasion!’ on DVD and while I enjoyed the episodes, the DVD was 720p as opposed to the 1080 in which the episodes were broadcast in both the UK on Sky and the US on The CW. Still because of my immense enjoyment of this crossover and the source material on which it’s based, it being only £6 was a no brainer really. When it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it was full 1080p and the sound quality is superb. Makes a brilliant addition to my ever growing collection of Arrowverse merch. I hope Amazon will continue to release these crossovers on DVD. It’s so much easier than having to swap between box sets to watch each episode!

I’m a collector so I felt the need to buy the dvd (wish it was in blu ray) but after last years they did’nt put the all the episodes of invasion in the full seasons I felt like this was going to happen again, so happy when I found the all 4 episodes were released on arrow season 6 and probably all the rest of arrow verse dvds little bit miffed that I felt the need to buy this dvd but still great episodes and watch all at once just don’t need to buy if trying to save money, also when derlivered the disc was lose😡

One disc arrived scratched, haven't checked if it works yet, the dvd case had broke and it's not the sellers fault. All the other discs arrived perfect.

It’s just an enjoyable watch

I like all the episodes for the cross over in one set like this, it is a nice convenience. The set is not as good as the last one but I enjoy it just the same. I understand that the cross overs will hopefully have fans of one start to enjoy the other shows. That is what the comics do also. This is a fun set of episodes. Break out some munchies and be entertained by watching.

Had to buy this extra DVD because I was watching The Flash boxset and got confused with the crossover episode! However I have now caught up with other DC series and it all makes sense now! Crisis on Earth X is an excellent crossover bringing in different elements of each show. There's comedy from The Flash, seriousness from Arrow and action from SuperGirl and LoT. A must watch for any DC fan.

I like Arrow but don't watch any of the other shows included in this crossover. I felt that it was an exercise in cramming in as many characters as possible, some of them only making a fleeting appearance, and it got very frenetic toward the end. Never mind, good triumphed over evil, the earth was saved once again and the superheroes got the girls, what's not to love.

Took a while to arrive as expected, came on time, the disc works, the audio seems a little off, I was hoping the episodes would be merged to be more like a movie but it still does the to be continued on etc, nothing huge love this product

Le DVD du crossover de la saison 6 d'Arrow est génial mais il est dommage qu'on ne le trouve pas même en sous-titré français. Je connais les dialogues par cœur tellement je l'ai regardé mais je pense que je l'apprécierai encore plus en version française ou au moins sous-titrée. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat
