Small footprint, easy to set up
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I like the TECKIN because it is much more compact compares with the others on the market. This allows 4 Smart device to be side by side on an socket extension without blocking off other empty sockets. It is easy to set up and compatible with Alexa, I have all my studio lights connected to the smart socket and I am able to control them as a group or individually with voice control. As long as I have Internet connection I can control all the lights and the program also allows me to set timer and monitor electricity usage etc.Fantastic value as you get a pack of 4

Great plugs, easy to use.
Great plugs. Really pleased with my purchase and their operation.Getting started, I needed to go into my (BT) router and change my settings so that my networks were separated into 2.4 and 5 GHz. I could then connect plugs to the router on 2.4 GHz (only) and get everything working. They don't work on 5 GHz. (Also all my existing WiFi devices continued to work after splitting the channels with no need for reconnecting - a definite plus.)There are also two set-up methods for individual plugs from the app when connecting to WiFi. Both are very easy. One small gripe is the width of the plugs which are a very tight fit on my sockets and switches - but sockets vary.Integration with Alexa (Echo) was a breeze, just enable the Skill then go into the Alexa app. Then add the devices in the Smart Home menu. End-to-end setup for each plug was 2-3 minutes.I have solar and I can now remotely-power on my heavy loads when the sun is out and my array is generating well (internet generation monitoring). I can power devices on and off from the Smart Life app, the Alexa app and of course by voice at home. As an added bonus, since these plugs show power-flow and KWh usage (in real time via the Smart Life app), they are great for seeing how much power devices need so I can keep within solar yields and not pull in more expensive grid-power.

A Great Product For The Majority Of Consumers! Read More..
I’ve recently been on the market for smart switches as I am renovating my home to become a future-proof smart home, and amongst my search I found these! I liked the compact design after finding countless of bulky switches that look ugly and bulging. The day these arrived I was filled with glee, first I’ll mention some issues I ran into and then all the amazing things that gave these 4/5 stars! So the first issue I ran into is the majority of UK plug sockets will find that this switch does slightly overlap the bottom corner of the wall socket switch so it is slightly difficult turning off the power by the main switch, another issue I didn’t experience but some users did is they couldn’t get there’s connected - but I had no issues and I believe it’s because my internet hub supports 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. Now the brilliant features! This socket is packed full off the same premium features as bulkier competitors, it accurately measure the amount of electricity that passes through the device and gives live updates on information such as voltage. It also, when paired with a smart home app like SmartLife does exactly as advertised and quickly turns on and off at the tap of a button (on your phone/tablet) the application I used will also allow the switches to be connected to any google or Alexa device but you do require one of the respective smart assistants otherwise this feature doesn’t work.Another good feature is the plugs include a manual on/off switch on them, so if you’re close to the switch and don’t want to go on your phone or speak to your assistant you can turn it off. This product would easily receive 5/5 stars if it was slimmer for UK wall plugs and altered to allow more users to connect it to their internet hub.I hope my review was useful!

Would reccomend, great quality and are very reliable.
Cannot fault the functionality of the product however it is more suitable for an extension lead, because my plug sockets have a particularly large switch which almost gets in the way however doesn’t affect the functionality and I’m still able to use them. Overall very happy with the product andThe customer service too! Sent me an email to see how I was getting on and asked for any feedback I could provide them. Very happy overall. Would reccomend.

Excellent value for money work flawlessly.
What can I say these are excellent and super easy to use. I have put my tv,and cable box on a timer so the tv and cable box are not on standby all night. I can control how long guests play on my PlayStation 4pro and control the power to my PSVR. This excellent if you have kids you can control the dose of gameplay they have. Yes I know they have override buttons but my power strip is behind the tv quite high and impossible to reach with tv on the wall. I have now just purchased another set of four and those will also put to good use can’t fault as of yet as they have been working flawlessly. Only slight niggle is they will work next each other on the wall socket and they did not come in the way of the switches on the wall socket. But they are very tight fitting side by side on my power strip so I have to stagger them which is not a problem. They do have a very small status light which is not annoying as other WiFi smart plugs which have a really bright and obvious status light. This WiFi plugs light is more subtle and they’re on promotion at the moment too.

Best I've found so far, but still a couple of niggles.
I previously had a belkin wemo which was bulky as hell, so these nifty little widgets are a massive leap forward. Theres a couple of quirks, but they're pretty good. The good:- Compact size means they can sit side by side in power strips- The pricing was good- Adding new plugs to the app is very easy- you can fit two in a standard double socket easily. The not so good:- The override button is on the side, which means if you two in a double socket (or extension lead), one of the buttons will be blocked. It'd be better if this button was on the top side.- Adding multiple sockets to the google home app isnt intuitive. After you add it to smart life, you have to tell google to "sync all devices".- In power strips with individual switched sockets, the body will foul the power switch...its only by a few mil, Im almost tempted to file it down a little(!)
