This doll is for a present but will have to take it out of the package to give it! Packages looks like someone dropped something on it! Doll doesn’t look damaged but not happy that it can’t be wrapped in it’s box!

As a gift

She is beautiful and my 6 yr. old niece loves that her eyes open and close. Her wig is a bit off with a little glue showing right in front of the part in her hair. I would exchange it but I know she would not want me to take her new birthday doll away. For the money, I am not pleased with that issue. Other than that, she is a really nice doll and very easy for Ivy to dress her.

I guess I was expecting a feel more like American Girl (the ones made by Pleasant Company). They have more of a soft vinyl feel to them and more detail in the hands, feet, knees and elbows. The American Girl (the old ones anyway) were also broader in the shoulders, chunkier and movements easier.That being said, this doll has beautiful hair and is well wigged. She can wear her hair down or in a ponytail and it looks and feels beautiful. If one can afford it I would suggest going with the old American Girl dolls, not the new ones. I've read the reviews on some of the new ones and the quality has decreased there as well. Thanks Hasbro!

I absolutely love Sophia's dolls!!!!! They have such sweet faces. Doll came on time. The box was old and dusty (I guess she was sitting in the warehouse awhile.) The doll was perfect and as she was for me, it doesn't really matter.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and it's perfect! I spent a lot of time comparing different brands of dolls across various sites/companies and settled on this one because of the price and features. I liked that the body was soft and posable, the face and hair seemed pretty life-like for a doll, and the price wasn't overly crazy. I compared this one in person to some other brands, and while the differences aren't that noticeable, I prefer this one to those. The only thing I wish it had come with was the Sophia's doll hair brush, since managing/maintaining all that long hair is quite a task!
