Was a little difficult for me

Awkward to use at first as you must figure out how to hold it. To use it it must be pressed onto and centered on the spot you would like to investigate, while holding the scope open and then somehow turning the focusing wheel. I highly recommend using the practice materials provided as you can easily pull off a leaf of your plant trying to do all of this at the same time as I did.

I have been using this scope for 15 years. Most users have trouble bc they try to rush to the punch. To use it you have to start with the focus dialed back then bring it into focus. You need to also hold it stable to maintain focus. So goes the nature of a analog microscope. The 100x mag is harder for the novice to make use of a 40x or 60x is generally easier to cozy up to. The length of the scope allows for the user not to have to shove their nose up to a speciman and allows for a better grip than smaller scopes. To me this is a standard horticulture field scope. Sure technology has advanced in the digital realm but while in some instances others are fumbling their cell phones to charge and looking for cables you have already come to diagnosis.

I prefer it to the the jewelry loop

There was something on a leaf and I could not give this thing out. I would line up the specimen with the lens, thought I had it but still nothing. Could be operator issues but not a fan

Great product if not broken once you've recieved it.

This product is the best for the money that allows the user to have 100 power magnification , I still use the original scope I bought seven years ago , the newer scopes have some kind of a scale in the view finder which as far as I tell serves no purpose what so ever , I have tried other scopes but keep coming back to this one , I was thinking of picking up a couple more to give as Christmas presents

I have an old one that I had to replace due to the light beginning to malfunction (glitches on/off while the device is open) at about ~7 months of use. Now, within a few uses of my new one, the dial that controls the focus is "stripped".. it continually spins past its end point, and it also slips gradually out of focus because the dial won't hold where it is set. Given how difficult it is to inspect something small with the fine focus constantly slipping, it is maddening to use and I've resorted to a different microscope I bought from a different brand, although at a lower mag. Very disappointed in this device and won't be investing in another.

Garbage ! The thing looks like it's been taken apart and the battery connector inside where the batteries go is all damaged and bent . Not happy at all wouldn't buy it again . My option of waiting for 30 DAYS ! TO REPLACE IT IS NOT AN OPTION NOR IS SENDING IT BACK AND ME WAITING FOR MY REFUND. why should I wait for something I needed a week ago from now ? If there was an over night option then great but there's not . Thanks for the garbage

Cuesta un poco de enfocar bien la Imagen, el Led al estar pegado a la lente hace que toda la imagen sea blanca y no se vea fielmente los colores, por lo demás un acabado aceptable y demas
