I am extremely happy with my purchase.
I purchased the P12 Pro Max 4K several weeks ago and I wanted to test it out prior to writing a review. Honestly, I was hooked in the very first minutes of using it. The clarity of the cameras is better than I anticipated. Customer support was most helpful (more later). The brightness is excellent at night with the brightness control on the front screen. The Design is very sleek and modern and the fit and finish is above my expectation for the price point. Installation was simple and is not intrusive. One could move the mirror/camera from vehicle to vehicle in under 20 minutes if you don't wire the backup sensing wire. After using P12 Pro for a few days I decided to buy the wire extension and mount the cam on our camper. Works perfectly and the Blind Spot Detection is most helpful. I do turn off the reverse assistance due to being an opposite wheel turn with a trail. NBD. After this experiment I wanted to buy a second 2.5K camera for permanent installation on our camper. I reached out to Pelsee to inquire how to purchase as they do not offer a camera as an accessory. A new camera arrived free of charge less than a week later. Thank You, J&*@#*e!I have owed three other manufactures of dash cams. This has been the best all-encompassing cam that I have used. The menu is well organized and easy to understand. The Mirror goes to stby with a manual button push or user defined time, very useful. I have not used the phone app and probably will not because personal preference. I do not use the voice control and mute myself from the recordings. The rear collision avoidance tech works when there are lines on the roadway. The front collision and front car movements works perfectly. The only con I have is brightness during the day. Just a few more nits for daytime use with a clear physical rear view to overcome the glare of the mirror itself. Typically, I will hit the stby button and use the reflective mirror which is very good. When the rear view is physically blocked by cargo the brightness is perfect. No glare on the mirror.I fully recommend the P12 Pro Max 4k!

Works great, looks great. Only problem is easily remedied.
Installed into my 2012 F150 and for my purpose I couldn’t be happier. Screen clarity and brightness is great. Installation was pretty much the same for this unit as it would be for most any other camera mirror. For those complaining that the units weight causes the mirror mount to droop. I used a carburetor throttle return spring hooked at the base of the unit and the edge of the headliner to give just a bit of lift and it’s been perfect.

Good mirror dash cam
Decent mirror dashcam. The reason for the 4 stars is that the screen randomly shuts off for no reason. If you touch the screen it sometimes comes back on. If that doesn’t work, you have to disconnect power and plug it back in and then it works fine. The WiFi works really well and the screen is bright and brilliant looking with excellent clarity. The mirror was very simple to install. I orders the wiring kit for parking monitoring and it does a great job at shutting down if the battery gets to a certain voltage.

very satisfied with the camera
I love this camera, this is one of the Best car camera I have ever owed. First, this camera has good quality, it is very Easy to install and connect on app. Second, it has front and rear view to record, and the video quality is very clearly on the day and night. the rear view is very helpfully on my parking. It including gps and 64G card, the functionality is all I need. The camera is good to replace my old camera.I would definitely recommend this camera to my friends and family. Recommend it, buy it!!

So close and yet so far!
Wow and at the very same time (sometimes even if the same breath) what the****? I used a hard wire kit and it was pretty straight forward to install. That said, If you are deciding on this mirror camera here are some reasons for and reasons against as well as some features I really wish it had.Reasons for:• Very clear resolution• Love the idea of built in safety features• Up and down camera scrolling is pretty awesome• The object distance measuring is very cool (when it works)• Can be used as a camera viewer as well as a rear view mirror• Great night video clarity• Ability to record front/rear cams (even when the mirror has been turned off)• Voice control is a fun novelty that quickly wears offReasons against:• No way to calibrate the cameras safety features with the software on the max model. Other Pelsee models seem to have this capability but the max only allows you to move the camera to calibrate. On the front camera this means that you need to have the mirror angled parallel with the front window. This makes the angle awkward to look at. On the rear camera you have to have someone else look at the mirror while you position the camera up or down. On my f350 the camera itself is not wide angled enough to see both the hitch for trailers and positioned correctly for blind spot monitoring (one of the reasons I bought this over the wolfbox).• As others have mentioned it is not quite bright enough to be a rear view mirror when the camera is off, and it is too reflective to see the camera view when it is on. This is not a huge deal as I just angle the mirror down when using the camera and angle the mirror in the natural mirror position when the camera is off. This just means I am constantly adjusting the mirror.• Only front and rear camera inputs. I wanted to run two rear view cameras (one to see what is behind me and one for hooking up trailers) so I spliced together a two wiring harnesses and put an on-off-on switch in. This allows me to cut power to one camera and switch to the other camera.• At night both rear view cameras flare headlights. (*Note. It only comes with one backup camera but I ordered another Wolfbox camera that uses the same connection). Both cameras had the same result.• Objects on both cameras are much closer then they appear on the video feed. This really negates any advantage of using the camera to see what is behind you because it gives you a false sense of security that things behind you are distant when they are actually much closer. This is a safety issue for me so I mostly keep the camera off unless I am backing up as it still records when it is off.• There is no way to shut off the recording permanently. It resets and comes back on after whatever interval you set between 1-3 minutes.• The lock video feature is way to sensitive even on low. It locks the video on mildly bumpy dirt roads, dips, parking lot speed bumps (even going slow). It even locked the video when I closed the door passenger door once!• I thought the voice control would work better but it is very limited on what it can do so I constantly have fingerprints on my camera screen. Why does everything have to have a touch screen........call me old fashioned but I miss physical buttons! There is one for power why not the other features? Sigh, oh well.Features I really wish it had:• Zoom - Optical would be cool but I would settle for digital. I can move the camera view up and down in the software why not add a zoom feature? This would counteract the "objects appear in camera a million miles away" affect.• Adjustable front camera - I hate moving the mirror to move the front camera. The front camera should have some left/right/up/down swivel motion, like a ball joint or something.• Multiple camera inputs - for side mount cameras and additional backup cams• Greater wide angle - It get that this is a trade off between field of view and distortion control but an old camera I had mounted in roughly the same place allowed for a much greater field of view and was only minimally distorted. In conclusion, since I already spliced the wiring harness and got everything installed, I decided to keep the camera. However had I known the max's limitations, I probably would have gone with one of the cheaper models or a different brand. Hope this helps!Hope this helps!

Great addition to my Car!!
Honestly an amazing mirror dash cam. All the tools and wires that came with dash cam makes the installation so easy and simple on my car and so far it works great. Both front and rear cameras are extremely nice quality and high resolution. I love that it records both front and back camera the entire time when it's running. This dash cam also got tons of features that's so useful, I don’t regret buying this for my car. Highly recommend!
