Squash Air Spencer Bundle of CS-X3 Squash Air Freshener Unit and Refill Cartridge 2 Packs

I’ve been purchasing this air freshener since the 90’s in San Diego. I’m glad I can still find it in various places. We’ve tried a few variations of this brand but the Squash is really the only scent that works. It’s got such a clean classic scent- hard to describe, I’m not really sure what squash actually smells like but this one is incredible and it lasts forever and the price is perfect. I used to be able to buy it at different automotive import shops or on eBay but this is great too. It’s easy to just stick it on your dash or under your cup holder and it looks nice too, not like a typical air freshener. And it’s easy to change out. You’ll definitely get compliments. Or you can stick it under the seat and not worry about it spilling because it’s gel. I’ll continue to buy this.

Best air freshener out there, hands down. Squash smells like bubblegum and 7up soda. It’s awesome, buy it.

I don't normally write reviews, but the misinformation on this product is mindbendingly inane. IT IS NOT SQUASH SCENTED! It VERY clearly states on the packaging "citrus lime crystal squash" and it very much has a lime candy scent to it when freshly opened. Squash is being used as an adverb (English rules were not my strong subject, so 'adverb' may not be correct, but you get the gist). Like 'Baja blast' isn't the taste of dynamite exploding on the baja peninsula, but instead description of what it's doing. It's "blasting" you tastebuds with flavor. Squash is likely implying its ability to "squash bad odors". Rant over. Smells fine. Kind've ends up being almost laundry detergent scented after you let it build up for a couple days. Scent was dead in less than 2 weeks with the shutter closed to try and get the most longevity out of it. Overall I'm not particularly impressed. Longevity is OK, smell is OK, but people have grossly overhyped it.

This is the first air freshener I’ve ever fallen in love with 😍 I wasn’t too sure about the name of the scent …”squash”, but I decided to try it based on reviews. It sorta smells like Juicyfruit gum too me. I like the case that contains the refill. It has a luxury vibe. I just put it in my car 2 days ago. Hopefully the scent is long lasting before I have to crack open a new refill. I’ll be back to update on that bc it’s my experience that some air fresheners only smell nice for about a week or two.

Right out of the box, this Air Spencer packs a punch. The scent is very strong, and you can smell it throughout the entire car. That said, the Squash scent isn't for everyone. It's pretty pungent, so opening the car door can feel like getting hit by a brick wall. If you love the scent, that's great. If you don't, it can be overwhelming. I also wish it lasted longer. After about 2–3 weeks, I could barely smell it anymore. I'll probably try one of their other scents next time.
