After 23 years of proudly wearing the military uniform and enjoying a year of retirement, my wife glared at me for melting into the couch. She directed me to join the world of post-career employment. Luckily, I had no problem finding a job but I found that fitting in has been a bit… interesting. My current work center is filled with 25-30 year old engineers that hold master's degrees in software and mechanical engineering. They all seem to be riding the spectrum and project the same excitement, energy, and sense of humor as a book on Tax Code. They all dress like Cyber Security Jeff from the DoD's online cyber security training course (IYKYK). I'm pretty sure in their eyes, us prior service personnel are wild animals… a gang of honey badgers let loose in the facility. In order to assimilate (visually at least), I decided to adorn myself in the finest clearance rack items that the BX/PX/Exchange has to offer and spice it up a bit with an Amazon shopping spree, starting with this sweater.I am pleased with this purchase. My sweater arrived well packaged and without any discrepancies. For the price, I thought the sweater would be lacking in quality but I was surprised at how well-made it is. The stitching is good, the colors are true to the photos (even after initial wash), and thematerial is very comfortable. The sharp points of the argyle design are very knife-like and may be effective in situations where a proper knife-hand would be used (I've picked up pen twirling in an attempt to stop speaking with knife hands.) The fit is perfect for my fluffy dad-bod. Dang it, it looks good. I look good. I feel good. Let's defend the network. Cyber Security Jeff would be proud. I will be buying more of these sweaters in the future. Great product!
