Kingfisher Purple 2.6m x 2.6m Aluminium Shanghai Parasol with Crank and Tilt Outdoor Garden Patio Furniture

I choose this essentially because of the colour. Id bought a new one last year, for which i paid over £100, which faded badly and then broke.This one is just a lovely colour, sturdy, easy tilt mechanism and does the job. I love the multi spoke design. For less than half the price!

V attractive parasol, a bit different from the usual shape - v easy to put up and good value. Prompt delivery too. HIghly recommend.

The parasol is lovely. It's quite big and more than adequately does the job. The tilt is excellent. Once it's in place all you have to do is rotate the stem to move it around as the sun moves. Height is also easily adjustable. I have a full sun garden so it's really essential. I was worried when it came because it is quite heavy ( I suppose it has to be to be substantial, my last parasol used to take off and fly into the pond if I forgot to take it down before the wind came up). This is very solid. I'm 70 and don't think I could have got it in place and up on my own. And we did have a real job with the string getting jammed in the mechanism. But once up it's excellent. I'll put it down and put a cover over it during the summer months - I think it's too big to keep taking it down and putting it away - I couldn't manage that on my own.

I ordered this mainly for the shape and if I am honest it was reasonably priced. Upon arrived I quickly put together and put in the garden on my newly painted furniture. I went for the kingfisher blue/green colour.So very happy with it. Shape brilliant. Double lined. Sturdy (I have in a base). Good quality - winder easy to operate.Would highly recommend to anybody.

Love the way it looks and the ease with which you can manouvre it. After reading the reviews I decided to buy a very heavy base, and this works really well to anchor it. It does tend to swivel round when it gets windy, and you have it slanted. The best thing to do is to keep it straight up when windy. otherwise it is a bargain.

We loved this parasol when it arrived, the colour was so unusual for garden furniture and just what I wanted. We have had it for approximately three weeks. Yesterday morning it was lying at right angles to the table as the pole had bent. I contacted the seller and they won’t replace it because I left it out overnight. I think it’s unreasonable not to be able to do that. I’ve had many parasols, and only bought this because of the colour. So if you buy this remember you will have an extra job to do every evening and if there’s a chance of a slight wind.

We use the parasol during this amazing, hot spring on a daily basis while having breakfast and lunch in the garden.Looks good, gives a lot of shade - and is very easy to open and shut. Even our children (8 and 10 years old) can easily operate the parasol - and even take turn as they want to open it.Feels very well made, lighweigt but stable.Only minor issue (thus not 5 stars) is that when opening the paralso sometimes two adjacent hinges of the aluminium poles of the parasol initially get stuck - but will release when opening up further.So overall a great buy, at a very reasonable price.

Esta sombrilla funciona muy bien y es muy amplia pero especialmente que se puede inclinarlo sirve muy bien contra el sol.
