Works great for this nervous novice DIYer
I heard all the reviews and recommendations for this product, and followed them.I followed the instructions to a T.I covered 15 stair treads with 3 coats with about half the gallon. Wish it was sold in smaller amounts.Goes on like water (watch for puddling or drips), covers great, doesn’t distort the color of the wood, no yellowing at all…just what I wanted! The 2 part process was a little more difficult than any other sealers I’d ever used, but the result came out beautifully! It has now withstood 3 wild kids and 2 crazy dogs racing up and down the stairs for 2 months- absolutely no sign of wear!

This has held up amazing to our large family.
We used this product on our hard wood floor and it has held up so well we have had our floor in for 3 years now and even with our 6 children and pets it still looks like new we also used it in the dining room the kids are always scooting chairs in and out from the table and you can not even tell not even a scratch highly recommend this product 😀

Easy to use and durable
I used this to finish and protect my walnut dining room table that I built. This stuff is great! Easy to mix, work with and has no smell at all so I could do it in the house. First coat went on nice, knocked down any grain or dust with 400 and added a final coat to finish it off. Smooth as glass and looks beautiful.

Waste of time and money
1 coat of sealer and two coats of Bona Traffic HD Commercial extra matte on a floor sanded to 120 grit:This is one of those zero stars situations where you have to give a star.Chunks in the sealer- no wonder they send them with a filter but one of the jugs came with out the filter. Yes I shook it.Splotchy finished that shows the 6” pour line.Says no need to sand between coats just vacuums and tack cloth and the finish turns out as smooth as a 320 grit sand paper disk- not smooth. If I toss a shirt across the floor it immediately stoops in place. Typically it will slide across the floor.Terrible coverage.Has a shelf life of less than 24hrs before it turns solid in the jug. So you HAVE to buy more than you need. In my case I wasted 3/4 of a $150 jug. This was a waste of $400 and I’m left with one question: is this a complete re-sand because what do I need to do before I can apply my typical oil based stuff that works every time?

Both continue to look fantastic despite dogs
Don't buy anything else. I've refinished 2 floors with this product and it preserves the floor really well. The first time we used a product be bought at a big box store and the finish never hardened, so we had to start over again. It was really depressing; tons of time down the drain. I have had the floors for about a year now with a few scratches from the dogs, but you can't see them unless you look really hard, so in my mind, it's done the job of maintaining the beauty of the floor. I did one floor in oak and the other was cypress. Both continue to look fantastic despite dogs, people and chairs. Also, there is almost no odor when you put it down (unlike the stuff from the store). Not sure why the home improvement stores sell inferior products; when we bought this you could only purchase it online.

Fantastic product
We used it for a 12 ft red wood table. As I wanted a harder finish that still looked mat and did not change the color of the table.I was impressed at the finish look.

One week in and it’s looking good. Nice natural color
Used per directions on white oak, 2 coats over sealer, no stain. One week in and it’s looking good. Nice natural color, very slight amber tint from sealer topcoat was clear as advertised. Might try another coat on high traffic hallway. It is possible to scratch at this point with a fingernail pressing very hard (or dog claws). Don’t expect it to be glass hard, at least this soon, but seems plenty durable for our house.

was easier than I thought it might be, was a little nervous.
used this on a freshly sanded pine floor that was seriously scratched up by my dogs, application was easy, gave it 3 coats, was dry in 3 hours, kept everyone and thing off it for the 3 days, put fresh felt pads on furniture and moved it in, no scratches. it's been a week and so far so good.
