I bought this lovely doll for my Granddaughter. She loves it

Unfortunately and rather unlike me, I didn’t read the reviews when I purchased this which I am now very sorry for. Bought this for my daughter’s 3rd birthday as she is obsessed with all things Elsa and Frozen. We’ve taken it out the box this morning and it does not work at all.Clearly the seller is selling a whole batch of faulty dolls, reading through the comments. I have looked for the option to contact the seller before posting this review but can find no way to do so. Please save your money and do not order from here.

Great quality item, and the noise volume/clarity is excellent for a doll!

A really pretty doll, really nice quality too. Hair is soft and the locs are nice. Also like how articulated she is.

My granddaughter was so excited as were we, on opening this beautiful Elsa. Unfortunately, she stopped working after 10 minutes. Hand motion did not make it work as described only touching her. We tried the batteries and there was a loose connection on one of them. Started working again but stopped after a couple of ‘ Let it Go’I am purchasing another one hoping we just had a faulty one and getting extra batteries! Fingers crossed.

I already have this doll as bought her from shopdiseny uk in may time but I bought another to do a restyle so will include pictures when takenFace sculpt is pretty, a lot of people didn’t like this one due to fact she has a somewhat more realistic face which on doll scale looks odd. The original photos definitely didn’t do her justice as she looks a lot better up close.Hair is horrible quality as is one of the cheaper hair diners called polypropylene which over time breaks down due to dryness ( I have done 3 separate moisture hair mask washes to point it’s semi decent now) but the locks in her hair are honestly well done & the rooting pattern for the locks is a lot better than Mattel (see 2nd picture) as Mattel has the lock be rooted down a middle parting while SD has them done around the perimeter of her headArticulation is very well done as she has 360 in head with ability to look up & down, shoulder, elbo, wrist & thigh articulation with added double knee & ankle joint.Singing feature: after months of having her sitting on a doll stand she STILL has great sounding voice box & the switch to turn on & off is semi easily accessibleClothes are a bit to be desired. The tail is fine in construction but like a lot of the Ariel dolls with fabric tails, not accurate to the film( watched 5 times so I know ho It’s supposed to look) in regards to the fins & the scale frantic itself isn’t accurate but does have a nice look, will need to be carful & Mabey have a midge Porte finish put ontop as the fabric is very delicate & mine already has signs of wear. The top is basic but fineThe second outfit is cool in construction & definitely ( imo) better than the official Mattel one.Value for money: good value for £30. Mattel did do a deluxe mermaid Ariel doll however you get more for your money for this doll than that one.Edit in 2025: also coming back to note that diseny store released a new Halle doll as part of the storybook collection line & she had a different tail but the same top. I think this doll is still better than the newer version, with the only real differences between the two being 1: the singing feature 2: the singing doll has double jointed knees whilst the storybook collection doll doesn’t & 3: Singing has the shiny tail while storybook line had a printed tail that looks more “film accurate”.Overall I think even with the newer varient, the original ( singing) doll is far better. I bought 2 of that one to display the outfit on a singing doll
