Great work pants
Bought these for work. Theyre good work pants. I have two pair of the summer weight ones, they have a good amount of breathability. Though even though i ordered the same pants ive gotten a couple different styles even when using the 'buy it again' feature. I dont blame 5.11 fof this, but just something to be aware of. Theres a ton of pockets all held closed with velcro, ive been wearing these for a couple months and they gat washed weekly, no issues with the velcro loosing its effectiveness. The knees have a double layer reenforcement. The top of the inseam has an extra area sewn in to give a little extra space for your junk. There is plenty of room in the thigh area that they dont have a tight fit. These pants are not stretchy AT ALL. They did shrink slightly after the first wash, but i dry them on low now and have had no further issues. The fabric seems to have a slight wicking effect but i wouldnt go as far to say theyre water resistent.

511 The only tactical pants you need.
They fit great with plenty of pockets for carrying stuff around and as always 511 never seems to fail highly recommend 511 tactical pants.

Just a good pair of pants
Perfect pair of pants, my favorite is the pockets’ shapes, keeps everything from falling out. I think they’re worth the price considering the gusseting. Quite lightweight with a little more material on the knees. Don’t seem to wrinkle very easily.

Still superior pants - could use a facelift for the 2020's
Awesome fabric, good design, but needs to be updated such as the cell phone front pocket is big enough for a cell phone from 1999 but not today's phones, it's way too small even for an iphone mini. 5.11 holding on to roots from mountain climbing days and keeping the strap-and-slash seat pockets on the back of the pants, it comes in handy for me to place larger items like handheld flags, or larger tools, into the pocket and use the rope to hold them in place. You can easily cut the rope off at the seams if you do not like it, sometimes it gets in the way for tactical use cases. It is nice they cut the slits for the boot blousing straps, but do not include the straps, seems they don't even sell them, so that a little strange. The inside rip-stop button for the fly, not the primary snap button, is positioned where it is difficult to reach and unbutton if you do not have much excess fabric/space. It could be moved outward more or up higher, to easily accessible. There are numerous positives about these pants, such as the knife pocket is great, good extra fabric for reinforcement on the top lip, making it easy to hook your pocket knife clip onto. The carabiner clip on the front, which I use to clip my keys or airpods to, is nice to have. Again the fabric is superb, comfortable design and I wear these all day in the Florida summer sun while training outdoors, or working on the house/truck, they breath well, insulate nicely in the (mild Florida) winter. They have a wide enough bottom leg to cover combat boots easily including thick winter boots. Most service men appreciate having good thick belt loops and a lot of them...and wow do these pants tackle that perfectly! They will hold any amount of weight on your belt and they big enough to use a heavy duty service belt. The currently cost of $52 is a deal! I have spent more than twice that on pants that are FAR less comfortable, functional with lesser quality materials. 5.11 makes great products and the money you spend goes a long ways for the product you receive.

Great pants
I have several pairs of these that I bought from the physical 5.11 store. We've bought several pair of these for my son who is a utility locator. They hold up well and meet our needs. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Great pants, with some problems.
So, full disclosure, I am not a person who is easy on my clothing. I work as an EMT, volunteer as a wild land and structure firefighter, hobbyist cook, shadetree mechanic and I'm a committed bachelor who probably doesn't wash my clothing "correctly". For work, I love the regular 511 black EMS pants and have several variants that have held up great. I now purchased four pairs of these taclite pants largely because I would like to have some comfortable pants to wear that aren't black, aren't as heavy as my carhartts, and don't look like my uniform for my days off. Just like my duty pants, these pants fit me great, I like the pocket layout, and they are comfortable and durable. My only real complaint and the reason why I've given these a three-star review, is that every single pair of these that I have purchased, within a week, has become stained enough that I don't care to wear them in public. I will absolutely admit that this could be user error. But all it's taken has been a small splash of some cooking oil, or brushing against some motor oil from a car, or coming into contact with any sort of greasy substance to develop a stain that I can't figure out how to get out. I've tried dish soap, hand soap, baking soda, vinegar, rubbing alcohol and repeated wash cycles. I've never had this much of a problem even with my plain cotton carhartts, or any other synthetic material pants that I've owned.

One of my more worn work pants for sure
I'm not one for the brand myself but the pants are definitely comfortable and I wear them at work quite often. I really like the angled back pockets even though that weird cloth strap is there. My only complaints would be that they could be a little bit wider in the leg, and they should sell longer sizes for taller people. I blame my fellow millennials for these annoying skinny legs... The material is nice. Fabric. Look. Washability.

Most reliable quality pant you can own!
Exceptional quality. 511 pants are the best quality I have ever owned - therefore the only brand I will buy, provided they keep the quality!
