I ordered this trash can because I like to compost my kitchen scraps. This trash can is small enough to sit on my counter so I can add scraps to it while I’m cooking. I had been using a bowl or plastic container; however, after allowing it to sit on the counter, the scraps would attract gnats. This trash can is a great solution for that problem. I like the motion sensor so I don’t even have to touch it when I want to dispose of some kitchen scraps. When the trash can is full and at the push of a button, it seals the trash bag. I am so glad I ordered this for my kitchen!

This trash can delivers a lot got the price of 20 bucks. I've never had to read the directions a for a task can before, smart or not. To start the trash can has an internal battery so it does not need to remain plugged in. On the top there is a motion sensor that works well and is responsive. The can has free buttons. The first does a few things such as closing the bag for you and turning the can on and off. It will close the bag and seal it when it's ready to come out. Taking the bag out then let's it put the new bag in from the included ring in the lid. If it could only walk the can to the street for me it would be perfect.
