Creekwood Crane Ornament, Bird Statuary, Garden Statue-Silver (15 x 49 x 107 cm)

I had wanted something of a focal feature in my garden for sometime and decided this was ideal. I'm so pleased I made the decision to go with this model. I 'love' it! The crane is both elegant and a bit quirky at the same time! The bird was packaged in a large box and came in 2 sections (body & legs) that sloted together in seconds, no tools needed. A good size and seemingly well constructed. It's very lightweight as the birds body is hollow, which is both good and perhaps a tiny negative, dependent on your situation. Being light it's really easy to move around to find the perfect location (just ensure you hold the legs as you move it), I have it on a stone terrace so it's on solid flat ground, being so light however in quite windy weather I'll likely put it inside to prevent it blowing over and potentially getting damaged. If you choose to place it among flower borders or on a lawn it came supplied with an independent 'double ended' strong anchor/ground spike to keep it from toppling over on more uneven ground, or in windy weather. The metal itself is quite 'rustic', a silver tone coating with some hints of black coming through. It looks particularly nice when the sun glints off it. The feather detail is really nice, the legs are hysterical! I would be inclined to bring it inside in bad/rainy weather to try and preserve its appearance, and saying that, this crane would look just as good as contemporary indoor decoration! I recommend this statue, it's a fun, modern decor piece and excellent value ( £29.99 when I purchased). I'd love a flock of them! ;-)

Like others have said, it is a bit unstable. Needed to be fastened down as well as pegged. Looked good once fixed. Delivered on time. Easy to assemble as only two pieces which slot in together.

I wanted something for my garden but didn't want anything tacky.....saw this and thought the price seemed reasonable so made the purchase - so glad I did! its stunning, very easy to assemble (comes in two bits, body and legs that just slot together) - I bought the silver one for me and when my mother in law saw it, she loved it too....so I then came back and bought the bronze version for her birthday present. Personally I prefer the silver one but both as gorgeous. Mine has been outside a month so not sure if it tarnishes over the years but at this price, I don't mind!

This is the second crane I have purchased. It looks so splendid among the shrubs in our garden. Much admired by family and friends. I love them.

I was so please with this product that I have just ordered another one even though I've no idea where I will put it yet. Small price for large item. Looks great in amongst my Acers and reflects the sun beautifully. Well made and carefully packaged so it arrives as it should. Next day delivery an added bonus
