I hate tablets and pills that make you gag when you swallow. I have choked a few times. Besides, the majority of the time, the dosage is too low, so you end up needing to swallow more than one. These droplets make taking your daily supplement of Vitamin D so easy! It's painless, as it feels as if you're gulping down a couple of drops of olive oil and nothing more. It is also gluten-free, salt-free and preservative-free, all-natural. You simply put the bottle upside down, open your mouth, and let two drops fall on to your tongue...that is it! I have been consistently deficient on Vitamin D, despite spending all my weekends outdoors and living in the sunshine state. My doctor said this certainly could account for my joint pain. I have been taking the drops every day for a week now and my knee joint pain is starting to decrease. Mind you, I have been deficient for almost 2 years and found myself avoiding the dreaded Rx capsules, so I have a lot of catching up to do now with the drops! There is evidence that Vitamin D will help kick start a slow metabolism, which is one of my issues (insulin resistance), so I am hoping that my metabolism will regulate itself when paired with a healthy diet and daily exercise and I will be able to lose weight as well. I'm not sure if it helps with cramping but my cycle is normally incredibly painful and coincidentally, this time, I feel barely any pain (some articles on Google claim a connection between Vitamin D and easing menstrual cramps). They say it also contributes to heart healthy and gives you immunity from such things as the common cold, so why not? The drops are inexpensive, easy to consume, and you have nothing to lose and so much to gain!

My vitamin D levels are always low. I was using the Oil capsules and was not getting any results, so I tried this one and they worked amazing. I even had to cut back how much I was taking a little. I figured out liquid drops work better for me than pills. Just put the drops on the back of your hand and lick off. Much better than swallowing pills also. If you are low on vitamin D get this, it works great.

I used these drops for years and love them. I has kept my vitamin D level right where it needs to be and is much better then taking a pill.

An update from my previous review. I used this product for years. Unfortunately, in the last year, I couldn't figure out why my throast was so itchy until I finally called the company and learned the medium chain triglycerides are derived from palm oil. Big red flag. If you are allergic to palm oil, as I am, not a good idea to use this product. Too bad, because it's convenient and works great. I'm allergic to absolutely EVERYTHING from palm oil to chemicals to peanut to gluten and THIS stuff is amazing. I can't take most of the supplements out there. My sister got me on this when she was dealing with a systemic candidis issue and my doctor said stay on it. Virtually no flavor minus a wee bit of olive oil. Doesn't lay on my tongue like other oil infused drops/liquids. I put it in food or on toast in the morning. Two drops during cold/flu season and one when I'm feeling great and I live in Florida where it's predominantly sunny but it always keeps me from being really sick. My doctors all tell me whatever I'm doing don't stop. Highly, highly recommend this and hope the ingredients never change.

Taking these drops every day helps me maintain a healthy Vitamin D level. I strongly believe that having a good Vitamin D level (60 - 90) is essential to staying healthy. I rarely get sick anymore. When everyone around me has come down with a cold, I usually manage to avoid it. It has also regulated my sleep so that I'm up around the same time every morning. I get 8 hours every night and that has a lot to do with remaining healthy as well. Take Vitamin D! Even if the doctor doesn't say you're deficient. You want a number above 60. To get there, take 1000 IU for every 25lbs of body weight. It is simple to use and simply tastes like olive oil, which if you dislike, it disappears very quickly. Just drop onto your tongue and have a sip of water if you like. It takes a little longer to get the drops out of the bottle when it is running low. If you don't have the patience for it, just buy a new bottle! It is so inexpensive and lasts such a long time.

DISCLAIMER: I've never actually taken anti-depressants and I don't think I would be diagnosed as having a mood disorder. I'm very fair-skinned and sun-sensitive so I tend to avoid getting much direct sunlight plus I live in New England and we have long bouts of short days when it's too cold to go out. A friend said most people get nowhere near the D they need and that liquid form is crucial for absorption. This is obviously anecdotal and my personal judgment but I have had regular bouts of feeling really down and hopeless occasionally and just generally unmotivated. Those seem substantially rarer and shorter-lived when they have happened since I started taking this many months ago, maybe a year. I seem to have gotten more productive and actually have a desire to get things done. I get two drops a day in a drink like coffee or hot chocolate or just on the first bite of food I'm about to eat. They have a mild olive oil taste, but it's only two drops so it's completely insignificant. At that dose, they last a really long time so it seems like a great price for something that I absolutely don't want to be without from now on.

These vitamin d supplements work very well and its easy to use. It tastes like olive oil which I am a fan of. The only problem is this product is very concentrated and has a serving size of 2 drops which is 4,000 IU of vitamin D (2,000 IU for each drop). It is a bit high of a dosage, however it shouldn't be a problem as its very uncommon (and hard) to overdose on Vitamin D, so just be mindful and only have 1 to 2 drops a day.
