Nice way to hide your garbage cans in a narrow space
I bought these when I moved into my house so I wouldn’t have to put a garbage can anywhere. They fit perfectly into the cabinet. I just wish they had taller garbage cans, but they work really well. I just take out garbage more often than I thought I would I bought a cover for the actual garbage in the back one is for recycling. They do not smell unless they haven’t been taken out. They work great they were easy to put in and install, I did it in less than a half an hour.

Measure and love it!
this product is just as decribed. It's sturdy and compact. we are using it as part of our landry sorter system and we installed it in the laundry inside one of the closets and it was great. The measurements were spot on, so DOUBLE AND TRIPLE measure your pace at home. It looks like it was always eant to be there. Now I'm making a can cover so it looks more like a hamper, but i am so happy with the appearance of it.

An easy DIY that you will use everyday
The trash and recycle capacity is perfect for a one/two person household who might empty them once a week. I think a family would be emptying them every day or every other day. But for me as a single they are perfectly sized. Before I actually screwed it into place, I put it in the cabinet and used it for several days, being careful not to pull it out too far as it will tip forward when not screwed to the cabinet floor. I actually tried it in a couple of cabinets first to decide where it would work best. Before I installed it, I bought the cabinet door attachment kit, then put the whole thing together at the same time. Installation was not too difficult; I just went slowly to make sure everything was lined up correctly. The final result is two bins that slide out easily with one finger on the cabinet knob (which is on the right side of the door because I didn't want to move it). They hold a week's worth of garbage and recycling for me, except for food waste which I keep in plastic bags in the fridge to avoid smells. You can use the 13 gallon kitchen bags, although they are a bit large. Or you can use 8 gallon bags which you can buy at the dollar store (20 for $1), and put a bungee cord around the top to hold the bag in place. This is a definite upgrade to my kitchen for not a lot of money or effort.

A cost-effective space-saver, with reasonably reduced capacity.
These Rev-A-Shelf hideway bins are a simple and smooth solution for those who want to hide the trash and take back some floorspace in the kitchen. It is a great solution because it hides both the look and the smell of a trashcan that sits on the floor. Getting the space back is worth any inconvenience of capacity. The slides move easily, without running all the way to the end and slamming to a stop, while the bins remain stable in their yoke while moving. Furthermore, it slides about 96% out so you can place items in the rear bin easily. This makes these a good choice if you do not produce copious amounts of trash. It fits easily into a standard cabinet, but measure carefully to prevent swearing. Also, if you empty three gallons of soda every day, or feed multiple teenagers, this may not be enough trash storage for you. In fact, my biggest concern was having my freedom to pollute the planet with trash restricted in any capacity. It seemed like a lot but doubts remained whether these would fit as much trash as a single canister. What I found was that I was now recycling more and between the two cans I was able to keep plenty of trash inside. Do not be mistaken that this is as large as the 55-gallon drum you are currently using. This is meant to fit under your counter, so the bins are smaller than you may be used to. Therefore you may need to unload it more frequently, but this has several benefits: 1. No more comments such as, "Hey, what smells like garbage?" or "Are you composting indoors, now?" 2. Rodents no longer submit boarding requests for your home on AirBnB 3. Not having to spend $120 on a trash can that looks nice enough to sit out in the kitchen. Installation was fairly easy - the most difficult part was screwing in the rear holes for which I recommend a bit extender and drilling pilot holes. After that, I actually was kind of disappointed there wasn't more to do. The bins went in and I was done, so I ended up taking apart the CD player to make myself feel better. What made a big difference was the price, as comparable units were as much as twice the price and offered no other benefit than reducing the hassle of all that money in your pocket. Sheesh I hate that. My only other complaint was that the bin only comes in gray. This may seem trivial, but this can lead to debates about which can is which. Do not write: "This is recycling" on one can unless you want to be single very fast. If you have a drill, a measuring tape, and a trash can that looks like the floor at Burger King, there is a good possibility this will help. Even if it is just a secondary trash, this is a good choice.

Finally — Trash Cans That Don’t Look Gross After a Week
After years of living with the original white Rev‑A‑Shelf cans, I finally snapped. I don’t know who decided “bright white plastic” was the correct color for something whose entire job is to hold garbage, but I would like to have a word. Those things looked grimy if you so much as thought about throwing something away. A single coffee ground? Ruined. One scuff from a trash bag? Permanent shame mark. It was like owning a pair of white sneakers you kept in a landfill. Enter these black 27‑quart beauties. Suddenly, my pullout looks intentional. Modern. Dare I say… respectable. The black hides scuffs, stains, and the general indignities of daily life like an absolute champ. It’s the little black dress of trash cans — timeless, flattering, and incapable of looking bad. They fit perfectly in the existing Rev‑A‑Shelf frame, feel sturdier than the originals, and instantly made my kitchen cabinet look 10x cleaner. Honestly, I didn’t know a trash can swap could spark this much joy, but here we are. If you’re still suffering with the white cans, do yourself a favor. Upgrade. Reclaim your dignity. Stop pretending “they’re not that bad.” They are. These black cans are the future. Five stars. Should’ve been the default since the dawn of kitchens.

Must have!
Perfect apartment upgrade! I was disappointed to leave my pull out trash cabinet at my house and have to look at trash cans and have them take up floor space. I found these and they’re amazing! I’ve been using them for 6+ months now and still as good as day 1. I’m buying a second one for my son’s new apartment now too. Easy to install, fit in small under sink space, high quality construction and bins.

Great garbage can
I had a previous one in this cupboard that the soft close broke. I couldn't get a replacement part, so I upgraded it to this brand and model. The previous one was a different brand. East to install and looks great quality. Happy with the purchase. I did move it to the side slightly so I could put some storage next to it, garbage bags an air freshener etc. I would say that this model does not have soft close it is more of a manual pull in and out, handle is shown.

Game-changer for a two people household
These pullout trash cans have been a game-changer in my kitchen! They fit perfectly under my sink, and the size is just right for a two-person household. I use one bin for regular garbage and the other for recyclables, and it works seamlessly. What I love: Installation was super easy—straightforward and hassle-free. The bins are easy to clean, which is a huge plus. The handle is a thoughtful touch—it keeps things sanitary since I don’t have to touch the garbage bag. If you have a garbage chute, the volume of a full bag is perfect—it slides down easily without getting stuck. Room for improvement: The plastic bins could be more durable. They work fine, but a sturdier material would make them even better. Overall, these bins are functional, practical, and well-designed. They’ve made my kitchen more organized and efficient, and I’m very happy with the purchase!

Great Product and Customer Service
I had an issue with the item I received and contacted the vendor. They replied immediately and offered a solution at first contact. This is extremely rare these days and most often you don't get a resolution to your satisfaction. The product is also well made and based on the quality I can tell that it is built to last. It operates smoothly and was relatively easy to assemble and install. Buy with confidence.
