I was hesitant to buy these replacement gaskets. After months of trying through Bialetti and other sources, I put them in my cart for months ago.In my picture..if you zoom in, you will see a well in the old brown gasket. I didn’t remember how mine looked when I purchased my 6 cup pot. The new white one in my picture..I was not sure it would work and give me the same outcome.After I made my first cup in my 6 cup pot..a well started to form on the new replacement gasket.The new gasket fit perfectly, with little effort to install.I did hold my old brown gasket up to the new white one..the replacement gasket is minutely larger..it naturally fills in and creates the well after the first use!I knew I had made the right choice!I hope this helps someone!

I haven't used these parts yet, hope I don't have to for quite a while, I am hoping the Bialetti pot and parts hold up well. Parts are obviously the correct parts, well-packaged and as described.Update January 18, 2014: I finally had to use these in both of my Moka pots and the results have been less than desirable. Previously, the Moka pot top screwed on to a nearly exact location each time, and the coffee always brewed perfectly.Since putting these new gaskets in, it's a fight to get the pot to seal. The top doesn't screw on to the correct location, and as soon as the pot reaches temperature, steam starts blowing out the seal. (The experience was identical with both pots.) It became such a fight to get a pot of coffee that I quit using my Moka pots and just used our Keurig. Certainly not the same experience and I was finally determined to work it out.My husband finally determined that the filter basket with the coffee in it has to be EXACTLY centered, and even then, he usually has to tighten the top again as soon as it starts heating up. Now that I have used it numerous times, being very careful to get everything just right, it is starting to give me an acceptable result, though not as good as it was before.I am disappointed in these gaskets, they seem to be just a tiny bit to thick for the pot and really has turned what used to be an enjoyable experience for me into a real pita. Trying to find some new gaskets locally and hopefully they will be better.

Gaskets don't last forever. Fortunately, this is an easy fix for when yours starts to go (and it will, eventually). I do wish the "cup" capacity of the Bialetti makers was easier to understand and better identified. Their "cup" is much smaller than the standard US measure cup, which would be easier to deal with if it were clearly ID'd on all the maker and gasket products.
