Fun Costumes Adult Plastic Baseball Bat Wood Look

Looked real, and was a great prop for my baseball furies costume.

Item was exactly as described. It is a full size adult bat. I bought 2 at Halloween for a Harley Quinn and a Negan costume. The event we were going to wouldn't have allowed a real wooden bat, even as a prop. This was a fantastic cheaper alternative to a real wood bat. Highly recommend if you need it for a costume or even a pinata bat possibly, haha.

I bought this bat to be used for a con. It definitely looks real enough that it'll look great for pictures, but it's fake enough that it will absolutely pass the weapons check with no problems. Honestly, some of the toy bats I had as a kid weren't as good of quality as this one is, and those were MADE for actual play.The problem I have with it is that I was under the impression that for the price I was paying, it was going to be new. It came in a HalloweenCostumes.com branded box, in a sealed plastic bag, with a tag. I opened it up and to my surprise, the bat was filthy. Like it looks like someone used it once and returned it. To be fair, all it needs is a wipe down with a wet rag and it will be fine. And personally, I don't mind ever buying things used. If I could have found one at a thrift store, I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat, but I was at least hoping that for almost $30 I could have had a new one. It doesn't say anywhere in the listing at the time of writing this review that it is a new/used product, so buyer beware.

It's heavier than I thought, but still hollow plastic. The wood decal is so believable, it scared my family when they saw I suddenly ordered a bat, lol! Adult size, not kiddy. Perfect for cosplay if your character uses a bat.

What was delivered was not the same bat as the product photos and description detail. The bat delivered is BARELY 24", despite the description claiming 35". Also has disgusting glue residue on he bottom of the handle. Do not purchase.

Great product. It's lightweight she at the same time feeling sturdy and robust. The only downside is, having bought two to make into Lucilles (one as a gift) I did notice that one wasn't as straight as the other (guess which I kept for myself). That's not to say that every one comes a bit wonky, my other one is FINE!If you can get past the slightly wonky quality you MAY get with yours, then the bat as a whole is really well made. The wood effect looks amazing, although it is contoured and bumpy but if you are after a smooth varnished look you sand it down a little like I did. I made two Lucilles out of this and they look and feel great, and heavy too with the added barbed wire.The plastic takes both oil and acrylic paint well enough if you are willing to put a little time into it and give it some love and affection, and if you have taken the time to sand it then the paint takes even better. It will also look great if varnished.Highly recommended

These were bought as part of a Cosplay for my son. He is going to Collectormania in Glasgow in August as Casey Jones. The bats look very real and with a wee bit modification will look like the props used in the film. Great delivery time and great quality!
