I bought this as a gift for my fiancée, who has been a die-hard Apple user her entire life. It was a challenge to persuade her to switch to a phone that was significantly cheaper than even the older Apple models. However, her first impression upon taking it out of the box was a positive one; she admired the large screen and the quality of the materials. She had expected a low-quality Android phone but was pleasantly surprised by the stunning features of the Galaxy. The camera quality was much better and offered more features than her now-obsolete iPhone. There's a learning curb to switch operating systems. Though she is quite enjoying the numerous functions and features. I myself a long time user was really impressed by this phone. If you need a moderate to cheap phone this is it. Great quality for such an affordable phone.

I thought I could just swap sim cards with my current Verizon card. It said new service had to be T Mobile. I didn't have new service. May be I just didn't understand what they were saying. Anyway I am in a dead zone for t mobile. Thank God I purchased 2 phones so its like a double kick in the gonads.
