TartexVegetarian Spread - Herb & Garlic - 200g

Very delicious taste. Somewhat difficult to get out of the tube.

I like pate, but don't like what it is. This vegetarian pate (I ordered the classic and the herb & garlic) is an excellent substitute. I'm glad I read the Amazon reviews first, though, because a lot of people mentioned it's impossible to get out of the tube once it's refrigerated. The first time I used it, I squeezed it all into a food container. Problem solved.

Expensive but delicious

I like this one even more than the mushroom- if that's possible. I wish it didn't take so long to get it.

I ate Tartex when I was a child. When I decided to go vegetarian again, I wanted a vegetarian pâté that was not acidic. This Tartex is wonderful. There were not the varieties that we have now. It was a very pleasant surprise and I will continue to purchase this item. It's lovely on bread or crackers.

Think chicken noodle soup in a squeeze tube, this is wonderful on crackers.

I have been using this product over the years. It is great tasting and a good vegetarian alternative for paté. However, it is impossible to get out of the tube (even with a roller thingie at the end) once it has been opened and stored in the fridge. I wish they would go back to their cans. Please, make it easy for us senior to consume this product!
