Easy to install took about an hour because I wanted to make it as perfect as possible.When it rains or I go thru a car wash very very little water gets in.

When ordering double check that what you're ordering is meant for your truck and bed size. Amazon’s ordering information could be clearer.Unit comes-in well packaged. I found placing the box within the truck bed and opening it then was most convenient. My truck came with a liner, so I had no need for shimming or special seals. Then, it is just securing the two supports to each sides of the bed, placing and lightly securing the folded cover to the supports, unfolding the cover and tweaking it for proper fit, folding it one more time and tightening all the nuts.The cover is not watertight. It does well when the vehicle is stationary during rain but driving in the rain or going through the car wash, expect some water to get your wife's groceries wet. Once installed, it looks super sharp and makes the truck looks even better.

A piece of the cover that locks and unlocks the cover in place broke. When I contacted the company I was told I could buy the replacement piece for $135, even though it’s stated that it had a 2 year warranty. I will be buying from a different manufacturer and don’t recommend buying this brand.

Overall I like this cover. It was a breeze to install by myself. Definitely read the instructions all the way through before you begin as their instructions are a little out of sequence when it comes to the clamps and stops. My only issue was the fit at the tailgate. I had to shim the right side to get it to clear the top of the tailgate so it would close without clashing with the cover’s rail end plate. NOT completely water tight so if you’re hauling something that can’t get wet you’ll need to put it in a water tight container or bag. It does a fair job of keeping water out but not nearly perfect. Looks very nice installed and does improve long trip fuel consumption slightly.

Great product and great value when compared to other equivalent competitor products. The installation was a bit of a challenge if you’re doing it by yourself but follow the instructions and review available YouTube videos before attempting an install and you’ll be good to go.Photos attached. I purchased the G30461 recoil truck bed cover for a 2018 silverado 1500. The item fits well enough and it works. The installation was much more difficult than I anticipated because of the poor threading on the parts. Getting the screws through required extra "pressure" (wording from the install guide) to get started, but some would never go through. On the item I received the end cap set screw is extremely tiny and would never thread in. Also, the nylon screws to align the rails go through machined metal threads. So, if there are any imperfections (which there are), the nylon screw snags and you quickly strip the head. This basically makes that part useless.Additionally the product demo shows a strap to pull on the side to push/pull the top, but my unit does not have this. I have to pull a cord in the middle to release it and push it back. Which means I have to get into the bed to adjust. Not huge, but not what helped sell me the product.

I’m happy with the cover, but 2 torque screws were not provided. I called the numbers listed on Amazon and they didn’t work. Then I called gator covers and found out they can’t help with Amazon buys because that’s a different reseller - even thought their website was listed on Amazon. I called Gator covers twice and they gave me another number that didn’t work and the second time a number with 9 DIGITS??? At that point I decided to cut my losses and found some screws in my garage that would fit. If all goes well, probably a good buy. If assistance or assembly parts are missing or damaged, good luck
