LITTLE TREE 5 Tier Bookcase, Solid Wood 5-Shelf Industrial Style Bookcases and Book Shelves, Metal and Wood Free Vintage Bookshelf

I purchased this largely because it was one of the few bookshelfs I could find that had a weight capacity to actually hold books. Many others said they would hold 15 or 20 pounds per shelf, which isn't many books. This one will hold 120 pounds per shelf, which is plenty for filling a shelf with books or maybe a potted plant or two. If nothing else I doubt we'll have to worry about over loading this thing. It is also nice to have the shelves themselves be made from actual wood, which means we can stain them or paint them if we choose to change the color. Plus real wood just looks nicer.Assembly was simple, each shelf has 4 holes in it and you just line up the holes with the holes on the frame and slide in the provided screws, tighten them up and you're done. It also comes with adjustable height feet, which is nice, so there won't be any wobbling. I suggest putting it together on its side and then standing it up once its complete. Took me about 20 minutes to put it all together, and I wasn't in any hurry. Could probably do it in 10 minutes with two people and a bit more focus than I had.It is also worth noting that this shipped in two separate boxes. With two separate tracking numbers. Amazon hasn't seemed to figure out a way to show shipments that go in multiple parts yet, so be prepared for one box to show up a couple days before the other, and depending on which one was the ONE listed in your order info, it might not be reflected in the order status. I got the box with the shelves first, then a couple days later the frame arrived. The shelves seemed to have been freshly stained/painted and had a bit of an odor to them, so I took advantage of the couple days difference in shipping to air them out.

I received my bookshelf last week and I have been completing the look before I give a review with corresponding pictures. I’m giving a five star on my review: Firstly, it came in different packages at the same time. Packaging was exceptional, no damages on the box and most especially the product itself. It also came at the time it was promised. Secondly, all the pieces were included and the Allen wrench that needed in order to put the bookcase together. I followed the steps in the assembly and one of the brace in the back didn’t fit, however when I stood the bookcase up and loosened the screws on the first three shelves from top, screwed in the second bracket first and tightened it up then tightened the rest of the screws on the shelves then it fit. You just need to used some common sense and try using other ways when you’re putting things together to make it work before complaining about the product. You have to put everything together without tightening all the screws and you will not encounter any problem. Given that this bookcase is made of real pine wood and all metal, it is not heavy. My sister and I who put this bookcase together didn’t have any issues in moving it. I also loved that it comes with an adjustable feet which makes it even more sturdy with my uneven tile floor. Thirdly, it looks great and it works great for my space and my decor!! The wood shelvings has imperfections that achieved the looks of a rustic design. The price is great for this product as well. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!!! Highly recommended to everyone 👍

I'm not much for writing these, and I think this may in fact only be the second one in the that I've written in my decade doing business with Amazon, but I only felt it was fair.I have a unique setup with windows all around what I'm making my library, so my only real options are the open back style or having something custom built. I'll consider the custom aspect over the long run, but right now I simply wanted something to get my books out of crates and up onto shelves again. I did substantial research, but these were one of the few that had reasonable pricing and actually have the strength to support books. (You'd be surprised how many "bookshelves" are rated for fifty pounds a shelf--which basically redefines pathetic.) As such, I ordered two of these.They arrived, and I discovered two things;First, they were actually better quality than expected as the pine was actually fairly nice and the metal frames actually were built with strength in mind.Second, the pre-drilled holes did not align with the pine shelves. So why the five star review? The answer is simple--I immediately submitted for a return, and was contacted by the seller the next day. The customer service rep had new shelves delivered free of charge within a couple days. They actually care about their company, their products, and the customer's perceptions. This is far too rare a thing to ignore from a company selling on Amazon. (We all know the horror stories or we wouldn't spend so much time reading reviews prior to purchasing.)I assembled them and have had them fully loaded with books since that point, with zero issues. Be aware that when you assemble them, you basically want to thread the screws a tiny bit to make sure you can get them all in. Getting it all lined up can be a pain, but they ended up fine and I'm about to order two more. I'll update if my experience is adjusted by circumstances.
