Decent substitute for parmigiano
This is basically parmigiano by another name, obviously not quite as good as the real thing but at this price it's good value for money and the quality is perfectly fine.

I've tried a few vegetarian hard cheeses and this is by quite a margin the best I've found so far, a lot of the others didn't taste of anything or were like sawdust- or both!This has a great taste and browns nicely if you're into grilling or oven cooking.Only drawback for me is the short life of it once you've opened it (a week) but I suppose it's better than being laden with preservatives.The Italians, I believe, use huge amounts on their food- at least my mate's family do- so given the size of the pack this may not be so much of an issue but cooking for one is not so ideal.I could always make more pasta things though 😁
