Being told of prolapse is quite frightening you tend to think all sorts! This book I found enlightening and very informative

Great book!
The best info and advice for post pelvic surgery exercises that I’ve come across. Lots of helpful photos of correct and safe excercises for post surgery physiotherapy. Highly recommend this to all women.

Its ok
A small informative book. You can find the excersises on line if you look, not sure what I was expecting but I was slightly disappointed. Not that many excersises more of a explanatory book of the different prolapses. Unfortunately it was too expensive to recommend

Don't get this - get the other one
Didn't help me, I'm afraid. Katy Bowen's 'Diastasis Recti' is much better and I'd recommend that instead. Don't be put off by the title - it's for pelvic floor too. If you are unsure then Google Katy's page/blog.

An essential book for anyone who has a prolapse problem ...
An essential book for anyone who has a prolapse problem, or who has had surgery. If a third of women have recurring prolapses after surgery, then we need to know exactly how to prevent further damage. Even yoga can be harmful, but this book does give solid advice, clearly set out, and written by a physiotherapist with special knowledge of the pelvic area. It was pricey but I know the writer is from Australia, and to be honest, I just couldn't find anything suitable in the U.K. so it was money well spent.

I wish I had headed the advice provided by another reviewer. This book is merely an exercise book and is not specific to pelvic floor exercise. It has a small amount devoted to pelvic floor otherwise it is just another exercise book. This book is a poor quality paperback. This was an expensive mistake. I received a card with the book asking me to contact stress no more uk if I was unappy with the product. Their reply, when contacted, was 'you read the book descriptor on Amazon'. Their must be far superior books out there with more beneficial advice.

Bit disappointed
Rather expensive for what it is. I was hoping for an exercise programme . Bit disappointing

Don't waste your money on this book!
I do not recommend this book! Nothing unique or helpful in this book that would merit the extremely high pricing! Found as a paperback for $70 and because my doctor thought I should read it I bought it. I found her explanations very distressing unless you are resigned to go from a very active person to a couch potato! Clearly explains how prolapse means an active otherwise healthy person must slow down, exercise barely, and do nothing but diet to maintain after prolapse weight management! You can find all her "advise" on line with a little common sense and the advise of your qualified physician... don't waste your money... I would put no stars if you could!
