Seals are reliable, these bottles don’t leak.I store fresh water in these for emergency use, every now and again I drink the water and replace; there are no dodgy tastes, it’s high grade stainless steel and the water remains untainted even after a long time.

It has this really annoying tendency to 'explode' open with the top when a certain amount of water is in and it falls over, the cap pops off and leaks water everywhere. This has happened enough times to make me not recommend it, but is made substantially worse by the fact that the bottom expands into a more round shape meaning it rocks around ensuring it falls over easier.

After listening to Dr Shanna Swan on the Joe Rogan podcast, and then reading her book, I decided to eliminate as many plastics and EDCs from my life. I'm a cyclist and have always used plastic squeeze bottles, but never considered them harmful. Ever just had plain water in one, no flavouring, and after being out in the sun tasting a plasticky taste from it? Can't be good!Ordered one of these to test, and it fits in my standard bottle cage with no problem. No plastic -- no plastic lining, no plastic cap. There's a silicone circle seal in the cap which doesn't seem to touch the water. I'll be purchasing a second one soon so I have 2 on the bike.

I was after a single walled bottle, so I can stick it the fire, this is a solid piece of kit and the price was perfect as It was additional to my Pathfinder bottle. In all honesty, I would get another and use it as a main bottle and encourge anyone who is into bushcraft etc to give it a whirl, I see many a sortee with it.what more can be said?....Roger...OUT!

We use them to keep cold water in the fridge, getting rid of all the plastics as much as we can. I've bought these before, my other set are 2 years old now and still don't leak. They're great to get water cold very quickly in the fridge, not designed to keep any liquid cold for long outside the fridge as they're single walled.One advise though, best to open and close the bottle with the fixed ring around the top rather than grabbing the top directly, this is easier anyway as the top tends to screw down tight, you can quite easily get a cut if your finger gets under the top and you try to open it with the top screwed down tight. I have them in all sizes and they're all good

Pretty much one of the only few bottles I can find like this that's stainless steel and not a flask. The lid it a bit screetchy though which is a little bit unpleasant, but I have been using it for years now and it has been extremely useful for me. Never leaked at all.

I’d leave 5 stars if it weren’t for the folded lip at the top of the bottle - a small space for grime to build up which is difficult to reach and clean.
