Since I grew up camping, this was one of my favorites in the series. I got all the jokes long before we saw the punch line. As always, this series is great at pointing out the absurdity of the English language. The laughs are plentiful, and the illustrations by Lynn Sweat really capture the characters and the humor. Kids who enjoy camping will certainly get the jokes. Others might need to have them explained, but then they will enjoy the humor as well.
