This is my first time using a hair colour. I'm 60 and have a few grey hairs. I envy grey (well, white hair really) on other people, but on me, the greys are under my fringe, on my forehead when I put my hair up, with a good few dotted around the rest of my mane. Remember that sun exposure, heated hair tools and styling products can cause dyed hair colour to fade so be sure to wear a hat in the sun, use appropriate heat styling products, and when possible let your hair dry naturally.If you have very sensitive skin like I do, I strongly recommend doing a patch test even after reading the ingredient list to make sure you’re not allergic to any of them before using it on your hair and scalp. This product didn't cause my scalp to tingle nor did it cause any reaction to my skin, eyes or breathing.I especially like that it's easy to use and mess-free and doesn't stink.

I've made multiple orders for this and similar products which all seem to use the same bottle and a different label. Like with other dyes there's two components, the bottle ejects them equally into your hand and you mix and rub into your hair to make the colour take hold.Do check how long is recommended to keep in your hair. I often aim for 10-20 minutes. You get into a bit of a routine with it, so just wet your hair, apply the product, and then find things to faff about with for up to 20 minutes before jumping in the shower and doing your regular shower stuff.There will be some slight staining on the skin, which is noticeable if you have very short hair. It will come off within 2 showers. You can apply a thin layer of vaseline to the skin around the hair line to mitigate that issue.

The huge bottle will last a long time and provide great value. It is straightforward to apply, but you have to apply it to dry hair instead of wet hair. It covers grey hair pretty well too. You will have to use a darker towel if you towel dry your hair because it will colour it a little bit. It comes with a bottle and some gloves.

I have been using natural hair dye and natural shampoo dye for many years, so I have a lot of experience with them. This product is a shampoo dye, but its use is more like a hair dye than a shampoo dye because you have to leave it for 30 minutes to set, as per the instructions. Unlike other shampoo dyes, you can just wash it after a short while.When you pump it out, half is a transparent shampoo, another half is a gel like hair dye. However, the colour is very weak. I ordered a coffee, and it is only like a half transparent light brown gel. And there is no clear colour reference of how varies colour look like, so it is a wild guess only when you ordered.The usage instructions are very limited, extremely small, and different to read. They call for putting the shampoo on dry hair and leaving it for 10 minutes for black dye and 30 minutes for other colours. So, in this way, it is nothing like a shampoo dye. And the box comes in with one set of apron and hair wrap, so your are supposed to use it like a dye.It is not easy to spread it out on dry hair, and it gives out bubbles. I also tried adding it to lightly wet hair, and it is easier to apply. But it further dilutes the dye and still bubbles up.I have tried two times, and the hair dye effect is barely visible. There is a limited gray cover only. Given that the coffee color is only light brown gel, I doubt the effect. But perhaps I need to leave the shampoo on hair longer to set. Then again, that is like using hair dye, not shampoo dye, as you cannot shampoo it immediately.The shampoo itself is mild, and I have to use a second round to clean my hair. Overall, the quality is just okay, and the color is too mild to have an effect, especially since it has to be further diluted with shampoo.

Doesn't smell so natural but has a great colour after developing, might stain your skin so be careful with that, nice pump feature too
