I previously happily ran 500 km in the ghost 15 so decided yo buy the new version as a safe bet ; the 16 is a very different shoe in terms of midsole material , the impact protection is better and a bit softer especially for big guys , the overall durability should be as good as the previous version, I highly recommend the ghost 16 as a very dependable daily trainer that could be used as casual walking shoes after 600/700 km of running.

I have always loved my Ghosts, this is probably my 15th pair. The styling on the Ghost 16s are much nicer, more modern and less boring than the older 15s without being too flashy. The 16s also feel quite a bit more cushy than I remember my 15s feeling when they were new. Overall I love them, and will probably buy more in different colors.But I thought I was buying black. I got the Blackened Pearl / June bug / Green color. These look black in the pics online. But the color is more of a dark gray, a little lighter than a charcoal, with maybe just a twinge of brown mixed in. No huge deal. I just expected a blacker black based on the photos.
