This is a fun, no frills, quality product; a good value. I've bought this for a couple decades and am never disappointed. It goes on smooth, feels good on, and moisturizes. The color change is fun. The color is not a strong matte color if that is what you want. The color is noticeable, natural, and pretty! It does have a good staying power, with a slight stain to your lips. The lipstick tube is no frills, a basic plastic tube, but for the price point that is expected. If the company asked for feedback, I would ask for a promotional release with a nice tube at a slightly higher price.

It turns a lovely pink and it’s moisturizing. The color last 12 hours and does not come off on my coffee cup ever! I’m not normally a fan of lipstick because it usually feels heavy and thick. Also more ends up on my coffee cup than on my lips! But this….this stays on, and the matte finish and color look quite natural.

I am 75 years old and have worn makeup since I was a teenager. Lipstick has always been in my routine but no one ever complimented me on my lipstick until I wore Mood Lips. Suddenly people have noticed and some have asked which product I use! The color is very pretty and lasts a long time. I keep one stick on my dresser and one in my purse. This lipstick does change color, but not with your mood. I bought the yellow and it becomes pink. It does glide on, but does not really hydrate your lips as it becomes dry eventually.

I bought blue and it turned pink on lips. It doesn’t smear onto cups or glasses. Lips feel a bit dry so I just add lip balm and am ok with it. I like it a lot and will try more colors.

This is a fun idea & I remember when I was in middle school there was a similar, "adapting" lip color available at the drugstore (which I loved!), so I was looking forward to trying something similar again. I bought green so I expected a rich but natural color. This is more of a bright pink. It's not terrible but it's not the look I was going for. Seems like it will stay on well & application was smooth, though. No bad taste or smell.

This is my second order I really like it EXCEPT. I live where it’s hot and it arrived melted. Don’t order this in the summer if it’s gonna sit on your porch til you get home.
