I get that these are really for pots and such, but their usefulness goes beyond that. My neighbor has a really nice, really old, aged brass rangehood over her stove. Some time ago the original knobs broke off, and someone cannibalized the knobs from one of the window AC units. Well those, being made of only plastic, broke relatively quickly. She asked me to come up with a more permanent solution. I had remembered working with these in the past, and took a chance on them this time. Worked beautifully. The set screw snugged right up to the beveled edge on the switches (light and fan) and work great. Zero play, and the metal interior gives me hope that the heat from the stove won't lead to premature failure as the others did. Cosmetically they don't look too bad either, and a heck of a lot better than the honking grey plastic knobs from the AC unit.The only issue I can foresee for this application? The switch shafts, being made of plastic (nylon?) breaking/snapping with too much force. Time will tell. Either way, the quality is top notch.

I wanted these for the windshield wipers of a kit car that I have. They’re not good if you need them for push or pull, but for turning left or right, they work awesome. They did everything they were advertised to do and more great fit no issues.

The knobs themselves are a good quality plastic knob, and the center diameter technically fits on a Moog Mavis, but the outer diameter is entirely too large. I bought two sets of these because another review said they fit, but that isn't entirely true. Several of Mavis's knobs are too close together to even fit one of these on, much less two, and when placed, they cover up the names of the parameters. This is in no way the fault of the knobs, which I would otherwise be quite happy to use, but I hope to help other people avoid the same mistake.

Inexpensive, matched what I wanted to use them for. They had to be drilled out to fit standard American potentiometer shafts and the white indicator line was questionable on a few of them. Cheap enough that it was okay for me even tossing a couple because they didn't look good or that I screwed them up when drilling them out. Final result on my project was fine, however.

Used these to change out knobs on a vintage rythm ace drum machine. These worked perfectly!
