I recently adopted a little black German Shepherd Dog. She's a peach, but I had forgotten how much work it is cleaning up after them. It only takes a few days and your yard is a minefield. I picked up a pooper scooper, but realized that it would be much easier to have one for the front yard and a separate one for the back yard, so when I saw this combo I had to try it.These arrived in a plain box and includes the scoop, the can, and a bunch of trash bags.Use is pretty straightforward. Put the bag in the trash can, use the scoop to pick up poop, put it in the can.The bags aren't the thickest, but thick enough, and you get a ton. The scoop has a really nice level of tension, requiring you to squeeze pretty well to open the jaws which close tightly. It's a great scoop! The jaws having more tension makes it easier to scoop the poop, so I'm thrilled. The can is small, but works just fine for this purpose.Overall I'm tickled with this pooper scooper/trash can combo. I recommend!

The only thing I could suggest with this can is that it had some kind of handle built into the can as well. For de-pooping the back yard it's easier to carry the can around in one hand and the grabber in the other hand. This can is designed more like a traditional trash can where you set it down and use the foot-pedal to open it. In my use though I opened the lid and carry it around by the lid. Not ideal and I'm sure I'm going to end up breaking the lid opener mechanism eventually by using it that way.

if the price was lower or the can was larger, I would give 5 stars. It was significantly smaller than I expected. It does work extremely well. The foot pedal to open and shut the can is smart and easy to use. The added bags are nice, but when they run out, that's gonna be an added expense. I must say that they actually scooper works great. It is way sturdier than ones I have purchased. I must have not read the description well, as I saw the pic and thought it came with a rkae and shovel. For the price, I can only give it 4 stars
