Good but only as stable as the care you put into setting it up
First thing... Its a 5m tower but that's where your hand is going reach up to be when standing on the top. This is a common ploy by all the tower seller so beware what you are buying. For most houses you will need a 6 or 7 metres tower to reach the eaves easily but when buying towers over 5m, you really need stronger construction and the price rises dramatically for that. I also bought a pair of side stabilisers which was a good decision.the main aluminum ladder frames at either end are fine but not very heavily built. the stabilising bars are the main issue i have. they are made of steel thats a bit too thin. Supposedly you use two of them as safety rails but i suspect if you fell against them they would instantly bend and youd fall down. Also the platform has a trap door thats great, because trying to climb up the outside would probably make the lightweight tower flip over, but without a stay for the trap door, you have to be sure you dont drop it on your fingers and head. I found the only way to safely climb up was to put a 6 foot ladder inside the tower at an angle and then climb up the aluminum sides till i could step back onto the top surface. When in use, it doesn't feel amazingly safe as it wobbles, but probably is apart from those thin safety rails. Certainly far safer than a ladder for high tasks like painting. I am glad I used the side stabilisers, which are made of far thicker and heavier aluminium and steel than the main tower. It made the thing feel less wobbly and you can fold them in if you move the tower. the instructions say not to leave the top platform in the rain, but you would have to dismantle it to get it down every day then. Perhaps a better quality coating on the platform would do away with the need for this. If you left this outside for any time, the steel nuts and bolts will rust and the platform is likely to delaminate. I wouldn't dare go up it with someone else, its for one person only whatever the blurb says, though having a roomy 6 x 2 foot platform makes working at height much easier. The main frame is joined with big plastic handles with captive large nuts. there seemed to be a pair extra shipped which is helpful. You CAN get it in a car but only when fully disassembled. Don't be tempted to leave a bit off before using it. It relies on ALL the bits being in place to give it enough strength!IN summary, these things are built down to a price but are essentially safe if used on firm ground AND for the 5m ones, use with a pair of stabilisers. If you have an uneven surface, pay more for a steel scaffold and add adjustable height castors. If your using it more than a few weeks, buy traditional steel!

Good for DIY, slightly unstable
Bought to paint 1st floor weatherboarding on 1795 converted MaltingsHeight - as describedAssembly - simple and well explained, all elements lightAccess - through the hatch, inside the tower good (once the knack of opening the hatch, climbing the frame, entering through the hatch and closing the hatch is developed anyway. Much safer than trying to reach the working platform from outside the towerMoving - easy on a hard surface, but may need partial disassembly on rough groundStability - OK with the braces fixed, but I tied off to the building. I'd recommend the optional outriggers for something approaching maximum height. And read the manual and watch the YouTube vids they do help in the assembly processPerfect for the job, right price - recommended

Great product, 7m version
One of these scaffolds is a fantastic alternative to using a ladder. Ladders at these heights can be very dangerous whereas these scaffolds provide a firm base to stand on. These seem to be designed for use on mainly flat ground so consider one of the more industrial (and expensive) scaffolds if you intend erect the scaffold on a slope/steps. I found that if the support legs are installed correctly, there is minimal wobble at the top of the scaffold

Very pleased
I purchased the 5m tower along with a pair of outriggers, turned up the next afternoon as promised. Packaged well, received in good order, everything was there including a full set of instructions, these can also be downloaded off BPS website, where there is a good video that’s worth watching.Yesterday I built the tower prior to my using it today; I half dismantled it and wheeled the bottom half into my garage for storge overnight, it went in with 3” to spare heightwise.I used it today to access my satellite dish to change the LNB. The tower is very well made and went together very easily. It was extremely stable and I felt very secure using it. Access through the trap-door is a great idea and add to it stability whilst climbing. In hindsight I should have purchased an extra set of the red handrails, to construct a mid-rail at working height, as I was both stood and kneeling on the work platform. I will be purchasing a set of rails and bolts for future use.I don’t normally leave feedback, however in this instance I feel they deserve it; well built; fairly priced, delivered as promised; very pleased.
